I have been under the care of the CMHT and have had a positive experience overall. The staff are professional, respectful, and take the time to listen during appointments. My care coordinator has been particularly supportive, helping me feel heard and involved in decisions about my care. Communication has been clear, and appointments have felt structured and helpful. While the service is clearly under pressure at times, the consistency and professionalism of the team have made a real difference. Overall, I’m happy for the support provided and feel the service has helped me manage my mental health.

They do not care!!!! The receptionist is in the wrong job and when it comes to prescription oh my god it’s long …not the best place to help mental health they just give u any tablets and next appointment is in months away 😔 they need more help to run this place…hard to find like a maze

If you ever have the displeasure of speaking to Claire, dont expect any help or any form of compassion at all. Condescending, rude, cuts you off mid sentence... clearly couldn't care less about her job and needs to retire already instead of making people feel worse.

Duty worker flat out told me to kill myself just to upset me. Sadistic

I had a medicine review here some time ago. It was the first time at this place. I told the doctor that I've had some very bad experiences in the past (I have neurodevelopmental disabilities) and that it takes a lot of me to even mention that I'm not ok. He apologised about that (which obviously wasn't his fault) and said they would try and do better. Just a few minutes later, that seems forgotten as I manages to admit I'm doing very poorly and had had dissociative episodes where I wander off, which twice almost ended in suicide. To that he just hummed and continued with other questions. I also didn't catch how my prescriptions would be handled (at my old place, I got for 3 months in one go), partly because I asked if I could get written notes what generally had been said, but that didn't seem to be an option (my disabilities affect my memory and I also have auditory processing issues). In general, I felt quite unseen. Not as bad as other places where my experiences have been straight out laughed at (not joking), but also not a good one. I hate how it's all so area based, I would very much have preferred to stay at my old place, also within Cardiff, but where they understood me.

The staff has never let my son down after 10 years he still has all the help and support he would never have been left not turning up for appointments and getting his medication as they would contact me .after the awful news this week regarding the mental health failures I need to say the link centre in cardiff has never let their patients down.

I go to the links and at first I got a bit lost but the people there are nice to speak to and the doctors are good and the nurses who take your blood and check your heart are really nice people who make sure your feeling ok about the procedure before they start and they speak to you like a person I'd say it's a good place to be if you have to go there I suppose

Horrendous. I have been here both as a patient and as staff - avoid this place as best you can. They disagree with established science and the staff are unbelievable. AVOID!!!

I found the receptionists were very approachable and gave clear instructions. There were never any issues with appointments etc so it seemed well run. And my DR was great and easy to speak to. The staff there should give themselves a pat on the back.
