Thou my councillor was helpful and good to talk to the organisation screwed my over yes I've had to cancel 4 sessions (due to family or self dr appointments but also I had 6 sessions canceled on my due to the councillors reasons, I have 9 sessions left and they just dropped me I was doing really well and my mental health was recovering now, but do to "policy" I wasn't given warning or detail, disappointed and let down but no big surprise people were right therapy doesn't always work out and we don't matter, bye
Utterly dreadful.
Helped me greatly when I suddenly developed anxiety and depression to the point where I was housebound. The sessions and process over a period of weeks was a useful start to my recovery.
I would like too thank MIND for their help over the past few weeks. I have had regular calls with workbooks and weekly check. I can do much more than I could a few months ago. Thank you
From a staff member perspective: Opaque management, long hours on the phone, and little support to discuss wellbeing. High turnover is also concerning.
Decent few sessions that involved reading and homework which was helpful. After the 5th session, I seemed to fall through the cracks as my emails were not replied to.
As a Mental Health Charity ,and funded a such there is no welcoming access in the form of face@face groups ,recovery initiatives. For example the women's group no longe runs ,"due to Covid" is the explanation.I feel upset that people inCardiff who suffer mental distress have no,'should to cry on',and are no even listened toWhy is this the case,Mind?
Great people to work for
Not helpful unless you have money. Look elsewhere!
