I just had my first massage with Anika yesterday. I’m post foot surgery and in my healing process. My body was a train wreck of unbalance, tightness and stiffness. I woke up this morning with less swelling in my foot, less pain and more mobility on my left side of the body which has been overcompensating my right side. I feel so much better today and highly recommend Unbound Massage and Movement. I’ll definitely be back!
Thank you so much, Anika. I felt a huge difference the day after our session. I slept easily that night with no trouble at all, and I was able to return to my practice routine this evening. Even though the session was about 30 minutes shorter, I didn’t feel any pain afterward. I know part of that comes from adjusting my technique and preventing bad habits, but without your bodywork the day before to release the tension and ease the pain, I wouldn’t have been able to truly relax my body or perform at my best. Because of you, I could really feel the rhythm of my body again instead of just focusing on discomfort. I truly appreciate the care, experience, and skill you bring to our session. I especially loved how peaceful and quiet the entire hour was. It allowed me to fully focus on my breathing and body stretches, which made the experience even more healing. Thank you for taking such great care of me!
My experience was unreal. Anika is incredible—so knowledgeable and genuinely wonderful to work with. I completely agree with the other reviewers: she really knows her stuff. I’m beyond happy to have found her and will absolutely be back soon!
Anika has magic hands, and brings a knowledge of anatomy combined with movement, that is unlike any other. My body feels amazing!
I couldn’t be happier with my decision of joining this gym. The coaches are so amazing, supportive, knowledgeable, and always pushing us to be the best version of ourselves. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, yet still challenging enough to keep me motivated. Everyone here is so friendly, it honestly feels more like a family than just a place to work out. I’m excited for every session and already seeing progress. Highly recommend!
Anika’s energy was lovely and she was extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with! We did the partner thai massage and it was a great experience :) she taught us techniques patiently and addressed all our needs. Highly recommend!
Anika is amazing! When I first went to her, I was in high levels of pain due to my Fibromyalgia. But with patience, her understanding, and great massage work my flares are less frequent. I highley recommend Anika's work!
I am sooo glad I found Anika! I absolutely love her style of massage. I have seen her several times and she has done wonders for my pain and well being. If you are reading this, do not hesitate a moment longer. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment!
I met Anika via yoga, where she has been my instructor. When I found out she provided massages, I sought her help after a jiu jitsu injury. My abdomen had a muscle knot and was tight. She helped me toward a road of recovery and educated me on this area of my body. She made it possible for me to compete in a jiu jitsu tournament afterward. I have continued to see Anika for additional massage work and she has done wonders for my lower back and hips. I like that she is professional, knowledgeable, nice, and her prices are reasonable. Grateful for Anika and I recommend her to everyone.
I am happy to have found Anika's practice through her yoga instruction. I now have regularly-scheduled 90-minute Thai massage sessions-- they are a place of relief and support for my overly tense upper body. I'm amazed by Anika's skill and ability to find just the right balance when working on a trouble spot. I look forward to being a client for a long time to come, and I hope others will give her a try!
