Working with Sara has been one of the best health and wellness experiences I have ever had. Not only does she fully listen to your story and concerns, her kindness and commitment to finding solutions for living more in tune with your body will leave you feeling empowered to take on the journey towards healing. Can't recommend Sara and her treatments enough!
Sara + her space are incredible. I see her monthly for overall wellness and self care. She is warm, capable, and always gets right into my bits that need attention. I highly recommend her for accupuncture, guasha, cupping, and microneedling and herbs.
I loved getting time with Sara! She's incredibly knowledgeable and was so kind and patient answering all my questions! I highly recommend her and anyone else at M'illumino.
Sara is truly wonderful! I went to her for my first microneedling session ever - she was so kind, comforting and knowledgable which really helped ease my nerves around it. I ended up booking a package of 3 total sessions because I was totally in love with how things went during our appointment. I am also super excited to see how my skin improves - it has only been a couple weeks and I already notice differences in my skin (:
Great value. Sara is very kind, the space is very relaxed. I love what an elevated experience I had. She had a warming mat to lay on, used red light after the session and provided great aftercare. She is very nice and easy to talk to as well. I booked a 3 pack for microneedling. 1 down excited for the next two. was surprised she offered w/out numbing cream but as i talked through the experience i was able to do it w/out numbing cream proud of myself!
Every visit with Sara leaves me feeling more connected to my body and settled in my mind. Always grateful for her astute insights, whole-person perspective, and next-level skills!
Had a wonderful experince with Sara at M'illumino yesterday. I tried microneedling for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how little it hurt and how quickly my face is already healing. Sara really puts you at ease through the whole process and is a wealth of knowledge for all things skin care and wellness!
I have entrusted Sara Bowes with my acupuncture needs and more for over ten years, on and off. She is one of those rare caregivers who is able to put her finger right on the sore spot of injury, stress or ch’i buildup, first try. As I suffer from headaches, joint strain, and pain from injuries I have had the fortune of booking with Sara often, not only so that she can help me with my pain and congestion but also to have my day brightened by her comforting, friendly, knowledgeable insights. Having experienced sinus congestion most of my life, especially when in the Northwest, I initially saw her weekly and through her guidance in lifestyle, dietary needs and supplemental vitamins and minerals we have knocked out the congestion with which I had been plagued. Whenever I am injured she uses her accurate and complete knowledge of acupuncture, gua sha and cupping, along with heat and infrared light, to bring about quicker healing and gives me guidance on exercises to bring my body back into pain-free alignment. Having studied at NUNM she is well connected with the community of Eastern Medicine doctors in Portland, and she is liked and respected by my favorite trusted naturopath and even my chiropractor. Thank you, Sara, for serving Portland with your talent and skill!
A few months ago I saw Sara for a series of 3 Microneedling sessions. The experience was wonderful! Her office is bright and cheerful, her care is compassionate and kind. She listened carefully to my questions and skin concerns and crafted a treatment plan to address them all. The results are astounding! Since then, I've had friends comment that my skin looks better than ever and it appears that I'm aging backwards - even though these friends had no idea I had done microneedling! I highly recommend Sara for microneedling!
Sara is a top notch acupuncturist. She’s imparted wonderful wisdom which I carry with me so I can better care for myself. She teaches me as she cares for me. She also does a gentle and supportive microneedle sessions which I find so helpful to my skin. I also have a huge glow after! She’s non judgmental, she cares and remembers my concerns and she’s such a treasure trove of resources. I feel lucky you have found her.
