I took private lessons with Svava to learn the practice of TRE. I am a trauma survivor and have done lots of therapy and felt like I needed to work more with the stress and memories stored in my body. Svava was an excellent facilitator of the TRE process! She was gentle, loving, kind, compassionate, empowering, encouraging, knowledgeable, patient, clear, and consistent. She checked in with me between sessions. She really cares about survivors and each person's healing. During our sessions, she offered other tools to support my body's healing. I have referred several people to Svava and will continue to do so. She is a healer and most importantly, she helps us to heal ourselves! I am very grateful to have worked with Svava to learn the practice of TRE!!!

Svava created a safe space where I was able to start connecting to my body. I started TRE (trauma releasing exercises) with her about 3 months ago and have noticed a big shift in my sense of well being. I felt comfortable asking her questions and felt supported to really turn inwards and start listening to my body. Svava has resources and tools to help guide you on your path towards healing trauma. One of the big things I learned was how valuable it is to have community connection as you come out of the fight flight freeze response, this is exactly what Svava creates and it really opened me up to feeling more connected in my daily life too.

I am so pleased I signed up to work with Svava and learn TRE! It was everything I hoped it would be. I learned a simple, systematic way to reduce my anxiety and gently release recent trauma in a way that practical and doable and highly effective. Svava created a wonderful safe atmosphere and did a great job showing us how we could move to doing the practice on our own. This new practice is now a key piece of my self care.

Svava is one of the most gentle caring souls I have ever met. The way she educates, guides, and holds space has allowed me to find my way home to myself in ways I didn't know were possible. I have loved learning TRE with her. The practice of TRE has changed the way I view all of my interactions with others and myself. I have an awareness of myself and a relationship with my body that I did not have before. I feel calmer, more at home in my own skin, more present with myself and others. And even more amazing, I now have several tools to handle stress and anxiety when it comes up. Just knowing that I know what to do and how to be with myself through my body takes the edge off of stress and anxiety. And now I understand how to move it through my body so that I'm not holding it. This is powerful! If you are wanting to move through trauma from your past or just wanting to understand how to have a better relationship with stress and know what to do with anxiety, definitely get in touch with Svava. She will guide you there and it's a gentle beautiful experience. Thank you, Svava, from my heart!

All I can say is WOW! Svava's gentle, yet effective approach as a coach and certified TRE practitioner has made a great difference in my healing journey. I feel so grateful to have crossed paths with Svava during this time in my life, and her journey has inspired me to rise above my own trauma as a survivor of sexual abuse. With the methods Svava teaches, I've developed greater self-compassion, getting into touch with my body (I was previously dissociated with), and tackling the impact of my trauma in a safe container. I thought it would be strange to enter into her programs during COVID times because of sessions and classes being held virtually, but Svava is an excellent space holder 1:1 and facilitator of groups as well. All around, I highly recommend her! I've learned about myself and my body to disempower my trauma. If you're on the fence, just take the leap to invest in your healing and recovery with Svava as a guide. You are worth it, and you won't regret it!

Svava's TRE course was so enlightening and could not have been offered at a better time. For the turmoil of the Shelter in Place order, Svava was able to transition our in person class to online. I was skeptical at first, but it was the most ideal way of continuing the course. Svava brought a resonance and comfort to us during this uncertain and confusing time. The TRE course expanded on an area I was missing in my other modalities I was using. The ability to let my body release tension as a seperate process from the mind work I have been doing added the next step in my healing and growth. Our class was as important to the learning by adding the community and support needed to be able to feel safe to explore the new technique. We all supported and cared for each other in an uplifting, gratituded filled way. Thanks so much for the class and community Svava!

I started doing TRE after watching YouTube videos. But I thought I should take a class and learn more because it was very much resonating with what I needed at the time. I’m so glad that I took Svava’s class! There was so much more to doing the exercises correctly and safely than what those videos had shown. Understanding the tension and relaxation is important, but Svava helped me understand how the process works and to be gentle with my progress. I overdid it a couple times by going to long and she was able to show me how to move forward and progress and I had a supported safe manner. knowing that I had overdone it she checked in with me repeatedly. I highly recommend Svava as a support and guidance leader and TRE instructor.

I took a three-class series with Svava to learn TRE and it was extraordinary - both with the practice and working with her. Svava's first hand experiences and gifts as a teacher made all the difference in understanding and accepting this practice, which is already having a positive impact on my well-being. Can't recommend more highly!

I recently signed up for Svava's Tension Release Exercise (TRE) class in hopes of finding an efficient way to handle work (and life) stress. The exercises are not difficult, there are adjustments available for most ability levels, and the outcome is a general sense of calm. I look forward to practicing TRE as a part of my new and improved regimen of self-care since being treated for cancer. As for Svava Brooks, I found her to be an intuitive and gentle instructor with extensive knowledge of TRE practice. If you have any interest in TRE, check it out! If nothing else, you will appreciate getting to know Svava. Thank you for reading and best to all in your health practices!
