I had such a wonderful experience at Stillness Moved. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calming and welcoming. My massage therapist ( Marco) was incredibly skilled—attentive, intuitive, and made sure I felt completely comfortable throughout the session. I left feeling lighter, more relaxed, and refreshed, both in body and mind. What stood out most was the intentionality behind every movement. It was a true healing experience. I highly recommend Stillness Moved to anyone looking for not just physical relief, but also a sense of peace and balance. I’ll definitely be coming back

Great massage. Thank you Maco. Reasonable price, great communication, kind and cool, skilled and intuitive hands. My symptoms improved immediately. Headache was less, I felt looser, jaw pain diminished. He does good pelvic floor too. Nice place and super chill and professional

1. Having established care with Maco at another office, I was both excited and proud to see and experience the new space. It was inviting and spacious. He seems at home there and can’t wait to come back. 2. What I can appreciate about Maco as a practitioner is that he listens. It may seem unimportant but this that adds so much value to the delivery of service. After 18 months as his patient/client, it’s something that I appreciate greatly.

Maco is amazing! He starts every session with a check-in so I am able to articulate what has been going on in my body. He is very intuitive and knows exactly what my body needs. He has a calming environment and presence in which I feel comfortable in. There is constant communication and adjustments that fits my needs. I highly recommend Maco!

"Therapeutic" has taken on a whole new meaning for me after my physical therapist recommended massage therapy to complement my PT exercises for neck, shoulder and knee pain. I feel so fortunate to have found Maco. I've never felt justified to go back to someone a second time (let alone more than ten times!) but working with Maco has been transformative. He brings an exceptional combination of skill, deep knowledge, listening, responsiveness and care to every session... every session is relaxing, healing, and supportive.

I don't know what good fortune has come across my path by being on Maco's table. I have received my share of massages and Maco's may be the first time I have ever felt like I received a full tablespoon of medicine. Everyone else maybe gave me 3/4 of a tablespoon. I came with the intention wanting to give a few marbles to my glass jar of spoons. I left with my hand overflowing with marbles to my glass jar of spoons. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be on Maco's table. Deepest gratitude for all the paths that have you lead you to your practice and you large toolbox and your practice of being. Beyond thank you!

Maco is a very thoughtful massage therapist. Consent is a key component in each session. As a very large person, I have felt improvements in pain management through his care. I was very nervous to start with a new practitioner due to my medical concerns often being dismissed or overlooked due to size. In some instances I could feel that someone felt uncomfortable working with my body. I have always felt welcomed, received and respected under Maco's care. And he has stellar taste in music. :)

Maco is very considerate and make you feel comfortable and safe. The space is lovely with a wonderful smelling indoor flower garden next door. Maco's bodywork is careful and effective. Although he works with all demographics, and does generalized massage as well , one of Maco's specialties is men's pelvic health which is rare and a great contribution to men's health in the Portland area. Hop on his table if you need some good bodywork

I knew within the first minute of my massage that it was going to be great. Maco has a very calming, grounding presence and wonderful quality of touch. He is kind, curious, respectful, and patient, and I felt comfortable in his beautiful space. He heard what I wanted to accomplish from the session and I floated out afterwards feeling relaxed and renewed.
