Robin is thoughtful and highly skilled in EMDR, drama therapy and talk therapy. I feel honored to have been able to work with her for several years. She balances care and challenge well.
Did not actually meet with Robin, but based on our correspondence it works out that I didn't. I have an expectation that if you are in the business of helping people you lead with a little more empathy than Robin did when I came to her to consider her as a therapist. Giving three stars since I didn't actually use her services and that is where her average is at currently.
Robin has been instrumental in helping me recognize, and deal with my complex trauma. I wouldn't be the person I am today without her guidance. I still have a lot of work to do, and I'm thankful she's right by my side.
It’s astonishing to me how someone’s words can be so hurtful and disrespectful. Two reviews from above makes me sick. Robin is not just a great counselor but she is extremely smart, knows her works. Robin is extremely busy helping clients. She hardly have an opening for new client. If you are looking for answer from a counselor right away, then they’re not for u. If u see a counselor one or two times and expect to feel better, then they’re not for you either. Sometime we don’t click with a Counselor that we see. And in that case, find a different one that u feel comfortable with . Not every counselor is going to click with us. Again, counselor doesn’t give u magic wand. You have to do your own homework when u get home. They’re not a bandage, or a disposable trash for u to vent and then thinks that u r off to a better la..la land. I regret that I don’t write a review for Robin long ago. We often walk away when we feeling better but forget the person that had helps us feel better.
Still recovering in therapy from my time with Robin. She’s a decent actress, but is better suited for another role. As the story moves along, it becomes clear she read the script a little too closely for the part of Erratic Therapist.
What can I say, she's a great actress. I'm not sure whether to be offended or amazed in her ability to portray the role of a therapist. Never had an actress as a therapist, so I didn't think to look for such signs. I wish her well in her entertainment career, and hope she rethinks the therapy role for the sake of her clients.
