If you're looking for a therapist who will guide you spiritually and open your soul to its creative potential, Kellyjoy's work is a gift that I personally hope you will choose to embrace. I've worked with a handful of therapists throughout my life, work a twelve-step program, and endlessly educate myself to find peace and meaning in existence. Kellyjoy helped me clear the debris from the path of my spiritual journey. If you are looking for concrete results, Kellyjoy can get you there. Trusting her intuition (and then my own), I went on a silent retreat. If you would have told me years ago that I would ever agree to a silent retreat I would have questioned your sanity! I began performing in theatre again, after more than a decade hiatus from the stage. I am becoming my authentic self more and more each day, thriving creatively (getting measurably better on the guitar every day), and living an esteem-able life, guided by higher values that were always within but had become obscured by the daily grind and material concerns. With Kellyjoy's guidance, I have become the proverbial person who was taught how to fish. Give a person a fish and you will feed them for a day. Teach them how to fish and you will feed them for a lifetime. Kellyjoy will teach you how to fish. If you are skeptical of what I am saying in terms of spirituality (as I spent most of my life being), rest assured that Kellyjoy's practice is grounded in scientific rigor, ethics, and an expansive knowledge of the human mind and various therapeutic approaches. (Fantastic bookshelf and reading recommendations!) What makes her work a truly extraordinary gift, however, is that you don't have to stop learning at how to heal. She can teach you why and how healing works. Understanding this, you will do more than heal, you will thrive.
