I cannot say enough good things about Kat! I was brand new to Rolfing and had won a few free sessions after a gym competition raffle. I showed up with no idea what to expect, but knew I had chronic tightness and discomfort in certain areas of my body and thought at least it would be a type of massage if nothing else. Kat sat down with me to get to know me, introduced me to the practice, and was absolutely amazing. I learned so much about my own body and patterns that were causing limited mobility and discomfort. She helped me to decrease regular migraines and taught me how to help improve my mobility at home regularly. If you're curious about your own body tension, movement patterns, or have a lingering injury definitely check her out!
Kat is excellent at what she does. I’ve seen many massage therapists and physical therapists over the years, and Kat ranks among the very best. Her hands-on technique when it comes to massaging and manipulating the body is great. And her knowledge of the human body is impressive. On my last visit, she gave me relief from my symptoms and pointed out the likely cause. I highly recommend her.
Kat is amazing! She has such a depth of anatomy knowledge and understands the body so well - she also deeply attunes to and listens to the body and tissues she's working with. Rolfing with Kat is always such a treat!
Kat is phenomenal at what she does. As a trans masc person, I can get pretty nervous seeing new body workers, but Kat made sure I felt as comfortable as possible. She listens very well, does a great job letting you know what she's going to do (and getting consent!) before doing it, and overall just helping you feel better. I came in once with some achilles troubles and another time with some neck/back pain and she helped both times. Highly recommend seeing Kat for your body needs!
Kat is amazing at rolfing! As an aged athlete with past sports injuries, Kat helped loosen the sticky areas in my neck, shoulder and back so true healing with full movement occurred. Kat's website thoroughly explains the process of rolfing and it is up to you how many sessions are needed before you reach your "feeling much better" outcome. Her office is welcoming and warm. I tended to wear loose sweatpants and a sports bra for the areas Kat's work was focused on my body. Highly recommend this wonderful practitioner.
I have been working with Kat for over a year and a half and her approach to your wellness is thoughtful, informative and healing. I see Kat for her monthly membership and whether it's working on my chronic upper back or neck ailments from a previous accident and sitting at a desk all day – or bringing her things that randomly pop up with my body, Kat strives to get to the root of the issue. She will explain the work she does on you and get into the details of the muscle and bone connections. And, she continues the work of your wellness outside of her space by providing helpful videos for stretching and movement that can be done in between appointments. If you are interested in trying Rolfing, or are looking for a new practitioner in this field, look no further than Kat.
Kat is an incredible practitioner and deeply skilled in her craft. The bodywork I’ve received from her has been very impactful and provided relief from ongoing neck and shoulder pain. Kat brings a warmth and gentleness to her sessions that immediately put me at ease. I can’t recommend her enough!
Kat is incredible. She is very knowledgeable and an excellent listener. She combines Rolfing techniques, massage, and yogic principles, all of which she is well versed in, to help heal chronic and new aches in the body. We have shared a couple sessions and the healing was immediate. Kat addressed immobility and pain in my neck and jaw, and I felt relief the next day. We address psoas and sciatica pain, and as someone who’s regularly received massages and other body work, Kat’s speciality is unmatched. 10/10 recommend!
Kat is an amazing practitioner! She helped relieve my pain during my first session, and in subsequent sessions, she helped my body find stability and strength like never before. Over the years, I've tried countless modalities and practitioners and Kat's work is by far the most effective. Her deep knowledge of anatomy, coupled with her expertise in Rolfing and Yoga gives her keen insight into the body. This, combined with her deep understanding of how trauma (both emotional and physical) impacts the body provides a unique remedy. Kat is kind, empathetic and a great listener. I felt heard, seen, and understood. My body trusted her. The first session relieved my acute pain and each session that followed brought deeper relief! Stress levels decreased. My body continues to unwind and get stronger every day. I would HIGHLY recommend Kat to anyone! With much gratitude, Dawn
Kat is an excellent professional, she has a deep knowledge about the human body and she was able to explain how the body operates and it’s connections in a simple and easy way to understand. Kat is a caring and attentive practitioner, as someone that has a hard time receiving bodywork she definitely made me feel super comfortable and at easy while addressing my tension areas. I highly recommend her work to anyone looking for chronic pain relief.
