Literally the BEST place I've ever been for therapy. Saved my life.

Obtaining information about which clinicians were accepting new clients required several days and several emails back and forth. I was put on the waitlist for several therapists. When an appointment was available, the Admin offered me several appointments for the week of 8/19 and let me know that I needed to tell them by 8/16 to secure one. I requested to book an appointment for 8/19. I did not hear back from their Admin staff until 8/20, several business days after I had asked to book the appointment, and they did not have an appointment that worked with my schedule until several weeks later. I asked for more information about their Admin processes, since it was unprofessional that they were not able to get back to me and confirm the appointment until a full business day after the appointment that they had offered me. The Admin stated that she had mistakenly forgotten to turn on her automated out of office email. I asked for further clarification on how Admin processes at Healing Tides worked, stating that I needed a therapist who was easy to communicate and schedule with, and the Admin responded that I was likely not a good fit for their practice.

S. Devoll has potentially kept me from ever going to a therapist again. Every session was centered around them, they cancelled sessions with less than 12 hours of notice, and not agreeing with them was met with aggression. I was going through a mentally stressful time and canceled a session last minute (after 4-5 sessions rescheduled by S. Devoll with less than. 12 hour notice). They decided the best choice would be to ghost me. Highly recommend to not trust this person

I was weary of therapy before. Shaneadr our sessions mostly about them, refused to listen to me, and consistently canceled appointments with less than 12 hours notice. The one time I did the same, due to an actual mental crisis, Shane ghosted me. I apologized and let them know what was going on, but never heard from them again. If you would like to test your abilities as a therapist, maybe give them a shot

Shanako is an excellent therapist and a dynamic supervisor. They offer gender affirming care along with social justice lens and anti-oppressive practice. They have been my clinical licensure supervisor and mentor for the last 5 years. They deeply care about LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC community members. We are privileged to have them in our community. Thank you so much Shanako for your meaningful work. They are such a gem.

Shanako is an incredibly compassionate, down to earth, nonjudgemental person. Shanako has a strong sense of justice and equity and sees through the BS that is our oppressive systems/society and will empower you to thrive despite the BS. I highly recommend Shanako as a boss and a therapist.
