Wow, I feel like a completely new human being. Cannot say enough good things about Holly & Ginger's Place. The moment you walk in you feel at peace. Holly is so warm and welcoming! She has created a little oasis in Portland. She knew exactly how to treat all my pain and I was so impressed with the techniques she used. Some I've never had before & I left feeling better than ever. Will be booking again, highly recommend!
My husband and I have been going to Holly for many years now. Not only does she make everything feel great, she'll customize the experience just for you. If you have an ache or pain, just let her know and she'll focus down on it to make it better. And the personal treatment just keeps getting better with each subsequent visit. Every moment is marvelous.
Holly was the first person I ever went to for a professional massage and I keep going back! Lovely space, and Holly is very talented!
I can never recommend Holly enough. She finds pain where you didn’t even know you had it, and works it out with a precision I’ve never experienced in another masseuse. Truly the best of the best. ❤️
Holly has been keeping me going for years. I do a good job at abusing my body and she does an amazing job repairing it. So grateful for how kind and attentive she is with my body.
I’ve been seeing Holly for over 2 years now! Ginger's Place feels like that magical spot you’ve been looking for!!! The space: PERFECTION! Your eye finds a new adorable element every time, but in a calming welcoming kinda way! It’s like your bestie’s house you feel so safe and comfortable in! You’re obsessed with the style they have… but know you could never keep that many plants alive…. Like I said it’s perfection! Holly herself is warm and welcoming! She gives you all the time you need to adjust & relax, checking in multiple times through out the service, in case your needs have changed. Holly’s knowledge as a MT & care for the person on her table is a rare find & I am so happy to have found it in such a lovely person! I am Queer & Fat bodied, and Holly has made me feel so secure within the service and space. Providing alternative movements, and stretching suggestions when needed. Her table is sturdy & i feel safe moving around on it when needed. Holly always making sure movement, pressure and places are okay to be touched, no matter what happened in previous appointments, which I value so much. Holly is wonderful & you should definitely book with her!!!!! *before i take all the spots!
Holly is an incredible person, and masseuse. She makes the experience feel so intentional, welcoming, and relaxing. She has an uncanny way of knowing where we hold pain, and how to loosen up our muscles. I will forever go back to her, and recommend you do the same!
I’ve now seen Holly 3 times and each time has been better and better, probably because they have healing hands! Holly seems to find spots you didn’t realize were tense and irons them out with gentle precision. I always leave feeling lighter, looser, and at peace. They are also so wonderful at asking questions to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. I reached out because some typical massage equipment doesn’t work well with my body and Holly was super attentive and helpful with coming up with alternatives and thanking me for letting them know which I was super appreciative of. I had an incredible massage and experience with the adjustments and can’t thank them enough for it.
Holly started her own massage business just a year ago! You’d never know it because it’s as if she knows exactly where your tight spots are. Overall her superb massage skills would have you thinking she’s been at this for years. Holly deeply cares about her clients health & wellbeing, even offering me advice on what kinds of stretches to do at home post visit. Holly is passionate about providing an amazing experience with superior attention to every detail of your visit, I never feel awkward, and always feel respected. I can’t recommend her enough, and I have to all of my friends. I love deep sports recovery massages and she even does fire cupping. Though I know she offers every style of massage you might want. You know they’re good when you have to book a whole month or more out. Relax with Holly, she’s 100% worth it.
Holly is absolutely phenomenal at what she does! I have had the pleasure of getting a few treatments with her now and I truly could not be happier to work with her. The Gingers Place massage studio is incredibly welcoming. In a good neighborhood, great available parking, and booking appointments is extremely easy. Holly is incredibly sweet and offers a variety of services at an amazing rate. She’s very professional and takes time to listen to your needs and help treat you, every step of the way making sure you’re comfortable and getting what you need. As a woman of color I love that she has made her business all about being a safe welcoming space to the community. If you’re in need of a massage therapist I cannot recommend Ginger’s Place enough. Support women owned small business! Thank you Holly!
