Dr Lawrence is amazing for chronic pain
Dr Schmidt is phenomenal!! I recommend her to everyone. Not only is she extremely intelligent and knows her stuff, but she is so empathetic and kind. She truly cares about you and your health and she’s passionate about getting you better. I don’t trust anyone else with my family or friends, she is wonderful. I wish I could give more stars. Thanks for all you do, Dr!!
So grateful for the care I receive here!
My son, mother and I have been coming here for years and we’ve always felt very cared for, seen, and helped. 🙌🏽. Thankful!!
I've been seeing Dr. Molly for almost a year. She is professional and very warm at the same time—who knew empathy is important in healing?—and she is kind, patient & persistent in her support for me making the lifestyle changes I need to improve my health, even when I'm a little stubborn. Reaching out to seek care (especially naturopathic care, which I had never experienced before) was a big step for me, but having a relationship with a doctor who truly wants the best for me and has a variety of tools at their disposal to help has been wonderful. My physical and emotional symptoms have both improved noticeably enough that other folks in my life comment on the positive changes. I really can't recommend EFM and Dr. Molly enough.
Dr. Yates is the first Doctor in 12 years who is willing to help me get to the bottom of my health issues. I’ve seen multiple Doctors and while I still don’t have a diagnosis I’ll at least getting some very specific tests others were unwilling to get. Every other doctor got my labs, did through food allergy and other tests but I continued to get viruses and infections. Don’t accept “you’re fine” if you still aren’t okay. Go to Doctor Yates and get real answers to heal up.
As a tourist, visiting Portland recently, I developed a medical problem. I received excellent, same-day care from Dr. Elise Wong at Essential Family Medicine. Not only did she diagnose and care for the problem, she identified another medical issue which my doctor at home had missed and fortunately, now I am getting the proper treatment for that as well. This is a great example of the mission of Dr. Wong and Dr. Forsten at Essential Family Medicine--to treat the whole person, not just the particular complaint. I highly recommend this practice.
