Dr. Kassam has been so valuable to my journey in the short time we have worked together. She has shown dedication and knowledge, and provided benefits through her suggestions and neurofeedback. I also appreciate her sensitive, intuitive, and consent-oriented approach.
Working with Dr. Natasha has been such a healing and supportive relationship. Prior to coming to Dr. Natasha, I wasn't sure what to expect, but in our first session, and each session thereafter, she's shown not only her expertise in what she does and how she does it, but also her big, beautiful heart. Her heart-led practice paired with her professional expertise has helped me feel more grounded, more centered, and more in control of my body and experience again, where trauma and mental struggles no longer run the show. I am eternally grateful. From the bottom of my heart, agyamanak unay (thank you very much), Dr. Natasha.
Dr. Natasha Kassam is an exceptional, caring, and intuitive doctor. Her compassion and dedication to my healing have been beyond anything I could have expected. She cares deeply and has so many different tools and skills to address healing on multiple levels. She is truly gifted and I'm so grateful to have her support and guidance.
Dr. Kassam has a true gift for putting you immediately at ease at your first appointment. Her innate empathy, warmth and compassion are matched only by her incredible ability to diagnose, treat and heal. I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Kassam in my corner as she has absolutely changed my life for the better.
I highly recommend Dr. Natasha to anyone looking for exceptional care. First and foremost, she listens! I feel like that is a trait these days that is not easily accessible in the health care field. I've learned over the years that I am allowed to find someone who I mesh with, and something that is very important to me is someone who will actually take the time to listen, make me feel heard and seen. That has all led to me feeling safe and comfortable around Dr. Natasha. Her personality is kind, humble and approachable. If you're looking for a practitioner, you can be assured that you'll be in excellent, skilled and caring hands with her!
Wow - I received excellent medical care from Dr. Natasha Kassam. Very impressive knowledge. Very good listening skills. And a great bedside manner. I have a great deal of trepidation about the American health care system these days. I hurt my knee a month ago and finally sought medical advice. I was lucky enough to stumble on Dr. Kassam and - wow - I was lucky. If I ever need medical attention in Portland again I will run -- or limp if I've got another knee injury -- back to see her. No hesitation!
I've now had 3 sessions with Dr. Kassam and I feel like everyone needs to know how amazing she is! I feel more healthy, vibrant, and empowered around my health in a new way because of our work together. For me, I am seeing Dr. Kassam to feel as healthy and whole as possible, not to address any particularly serious health concerns. She is a great fit for me - she sees health as a complicated system that isn't just physical - it's clearly mental and emotional, too. Dr. Kassam has taken so much time to talk with me, listen to my concerns, and address them with incredible knowledge. Not only does she have incredible care and presence when we meet, she is such a treasure trove of information. I was amazed how she was able to understand my health concerns so clearly and give concise, clear input for my improvement. We did some blood work and then took time to discuss a number of things - I left feeling like I had just received many year's worth of information from that meeting! So many things to think about, but Dr. Kassam was able to help me prioritize our action steps. She was very sensitive to me not feeling overwhelmed while also addressing the things that were important. Additionally, I think I'm someone who generally has a distrust of those in the medical community. I feel like doctors are often interested in treating symptoms than addressing the root causes. I've had too many experiences when the appointment felt rushed and I was just handed a prescription without a lot of thought. Working with Dr. Kassam has reinstated my trust in doctors. She has also been so generous to stay in touch with me between sessions via email and also give short phone check-ins as needed. That's just the icing on the cake! A great doctor who's actually available when you need them...Awesome!
My first experience at 8 Hearts Health & Wellness was a hydrotherapy treatment with Dr. Natasha Kassam. Dr. Natasha is one of those rare gems in the healthcare world: an attentive, highly skilled, kindhearted natural healer. I had never tried hydrotherapy before, but I received plenty of information about what to expect before the appointment. Throughout the entire session, I felt utterly relaxed and cared for, and afterwards, my body felt better than it had in months! I would highly recommend 8 Hearts and Dr. Kassam to anyone who is looking for natural health care that makes them feel like they are a real person rather than just another name in the system. Natasha is a gem and her clinic is a breath of fresh air!
When I visited Dr. Natasha one year ago, I had been suffering for quite a while with a problem that my MD was unable to fix through prescription medication. On that first visit Dr. Natasha took her time, asked many, many questions, listened carefully and recommended a holistic approach to fixing my problem -- none of which required harsh medications, which I appreciated. Over the course of several months, my symptoms improved, then disappeared all together, and I hadn't felt so well in years. It is amazing how support through natural supplements can nourish the body to a level of recovery that does not require long term usage. And, how a few simple changes in one's diet can make a major improvement in quality of life. Dr. Natasha is one of the most caring health practitioners I've had the pleasure to know. I highly recommend her to my friends and family.
I went to Dr. Natasha for a consult and I was so impressed when I met with her. Not only was she ready and available at my appointment time, she gave me a tour of the clinic and showed me the suite of wellness providers located right there at the clinic. I had heard that 8 Hearts is about caring for the whole person and keeping people well rather than just responding to illness; this was a good demonstration of their philosophy. My appointment went uninterrupted and it ended promptly on time. I left feeling truly listened to and learned my headaches could be triggered by physical, mental or emotional stressors. I liked Dr. Natasha’s recommended holistic approach to finding the underlying cause. Today was a great experience; I’m looking forward to my next appointment.
