Our son saw Dr. Esparza shortly after being discharged from inpatient treatment. The initial visit was about 15 minutes long and there was no meaningful assessment of his history with addiction, despite the fact that he was currently on Suboxone and this is supposed to be an area of specialty for this practice. Follow up visits were about 10 minutes each. Instead of a thorough evaluation, he was prescribed Valium with minimal discussion about risks, alternatives, or a plan for follow-up. Our son did not initially disclose some past addiction history, but there was also no effort made to ask careful screening questions that would have brought that information out — something we expected from a clinician in this field. When our son later tried to be honest about his history, the interaction became abrupt and ended in a way that left him feeling dismissed and unsafe. After that, he lost trust in the provider and his anxiety worsened. We were looking for careful, trauma-informed care and collaborative communication. Unfortunately, that is not what we experienced, and we would not recommend this practice for families navigating addiction and mental health recovery.

I worked with the DR for like a year I think before I needed to transfer care due to insurance. In that time I can now sleep, my depression and anxiety is gone, I no longer have suicidal thoughts, I am focused and motivated and no longer smoking or drinking. I no longer need caffeine, I have energy all day and no longer take naps. I'm the most productive I have ever been. So literally fixed every area of my life where I was struggling. Extremely responsive in-between appointments if I needed help or had questions regarding medications. Staff are extremely helpful and professional.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bridgeton Recovery, The staff and Dr Esparza have provided me with quality care for years. I went there after residential treatment for follow up care. Dr. Esparza involved my family in my care plan and was always responsive and available to me and my family. I’ve never had a scheduling or billing problem and do most of my appointments by phone now. I would highly recommend this clinic. Both the doctor and the staff are available and answer all of my questions - they are a reliable partner in my health care.

I wanna start by saying this place the people who are this place saved my life. I have been with Dr.Ezparza for over 6 years. From detox at cedar hills, then after treatment completion for my maintenance journey. Dr.Esparza has seen me through going on two pregnancys. I have never relapsed thats saying alot because ive been through the ringer with treatment places and doctors. They have never judge me Dr.Esparza has always gone at my pace, never rushing me to tapper or take more. It's been all about me and my individual recovery needs. He truly cares about my family and always asked about them. The front office gals are so sweet and go above and beyond to make it work for you. I seem to have the worst luck with pharmacies. No matter the one, they always mess it up. So, I'm always calling the office to get them to play phone tag with the pharmacy to get my prescriptions lined out. They always come through for me. If it's after hrs or weekends, I leave a message, and Dr.Esparza personally takes time away from his life to make sure I'm taken care of. You just don't find people or places like that anymore. I honestly don't know where I would be in my life right now if it wasn't for the unwavering support of Bridgetown staff and Dr.Esparza. I can't really put it into words where you truly understand the impact these people have had in my life. But this was my attempt.

This is the greatest staff and dr esparza. They have helped me live a better life of sobriety and quality way of life, for the better part of 7 years...every health facility should model themselves after bridgetown and their staff. They are incredible...thank you so much...

Do not visit this clinic and please choose somewhere else that will be more compassionate to you as a patient rather than as a dollar sign. Real bummer that my wife won't be going here anymore, as she was a loyal client for two years. But, they care more about the money from patients than showing compassion for their patients. My wife's mother passed away very unexpectedly and we had to race out of town and drive 11 hours each way to get to her before she passed and then get back to town for work. So, naturally, my wife missed her initial appointment. There seemed to be no problem and they rescheduled. However, they later changed the time on that reschedule and my wife, in the midst of grief, forgot and missed which day it was on. Instead of showing compassion for a patient going through hell and operating on next to no sleep, they charged her a $50 no-show fee right after telling her "how sorry they were about her mom's passing." What a joke. Just don't bother showing fake compassion to then punish my wife for missing an appointment after YOU all changed the time last minute and she understandably missed it while going through unimaginable grief. I hope the $50 fee was worth it because you just lost a client over it. Since they don't seem to know or care despite working with those in recovery, the death of a loved one is a massive trigger for someone in recovery. So is placing a fine on them because they missed an appointment due to that grief. Further, despite telling them multiple times that she gets off work at 2:30PM, they tried to schedule her constantly at 2PM or 2:15PM. I'm giving two stars instead of one because the doctor was at least nice and professional when we met with him. Though, I have no doubt he played a part in this unprofessional decision, so I might change it to one star in the future.

These ppl r master con artists. They just want your money and give you little in return. They expect you to drop off a form in person or fax it which is insane, especially when you have no car, printer, or fax machine. I have been able to fill out signatures online with zero problems, except here. They take your money with short notice. I got no help and thanks to them I have no money in my account while their "doctors" sit on 6 figure salaries.

We found Bridgetown after determining that the Belmont Clinic was not a good fit for our son. I wish we had found Bridgetown initially but that is water under the bridge (no pun intended). Our first impression and interactions by telephone since our initial visit have been very positive. The front desk staff is very helpful, pleasant and informative (we mainly interact with Jeff). Whereas Belmont is in a nondescript building with a dark and sterile interior, Bridgetown is in a well maintained converted early-1900’s building with a bright medical office interior. Belmont has a long line of people throughout the morning waiting for their daily dosage. While we were at Bridgetown only three patients arrived for appointments. We are keeping our fingers crossed that our son will be successful at Bridgetown.
