I had my first Tui Na session and I’m so glad I tried it. Roy created such a cozy and peaceful environment. He was very kind and calming, which made it easy to fully relax and trust the process. The work felt both therapeutic and unique compared to other modalities I’ve experienced.
I received an excellent deep tissue massage from Roy. I explained what I was experiencing and he was able to customize a massage tailored to my exact need and within a day I was feeling relief. I love the incorporation of Tuina and being able to discuss which meridian was worked post massage. He has great skill and rapport. I definitely will go back!
Highly recommend! I’ve had a couple sessions with Roy now and both times have been great experiences. Roy is professional, kind, and my body feels great after each massage. Definitely planning to continue going as often as I can!
I had an absolutely transformative experience here. From the moment the session began, Roy located areas of tension in my back, shoulders, rotator cuffs, under arms and neck that no one had ever addressed before using his methods. His stretching and therapeutic techniques brought deep relief to my hips and lower back that I didn’t think were possible unless using a different modality — I left feeling more aligned, lighter, and genuinely thankful. This wasn’t just a massage, it was healing work that made a real difference. I’m so grateful and highly recommend Body Treat LLC to anyone looking for skilled, thoughtful, and effective bodywork. Note: the office is inside a locked building, but don’t let that throw you. Just search for “Roy” on the intercom; it's quick and easy. This place is a total game changer. Highly, highly recommend Body Treat LLC!
Roy was absolutely amazing. A healing touch & a calming environment are a winning combination! I had an incredible Swedish massage with Roy in Portland, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about the experience. Roy is exceptionally skilled- he has a great sense of pressure and flow, and the whole session felt perfectly balanced between relaxing and therapeutic. His space is clean, calming, and welcoming, and he immediately put me at ease. I left feeling completely renewed and tension-free. If you’re looking for a truly professional and rejuvenating massage, Roy is absolutely the person to book with. Highly recommended
Roy is so very personable, kind and attentive. He listened to my concerns and helped me understand what I was holding in my body. I had the King Midas Touch massage as I was told by a friend this style of massage called Tui Na would be a helpful modality for my chronic pain and body compensations which have thrown off my alignment. I left feeling more energy moving throughout my body and relief from the tension I came in with. I have been looking for a LMT in town that I can see consistently and I’m very grateful to have found someone who is both incredibly skilled and passionate about bodywork. Highly recommend!
Roy was amazing! As someone in a profession that is notoriously hard on the body with two young kids at home, my body has been through the ringer and I’ve been struggling to find the time to take care of myself. In my first session, Roy was able to identify all the problem areas and work his magic! The space itself was clean, serene, and meticulously cared for. I have nothing but high praises to give and cannot wait for my next session! Do yourself a favor and book with him!
I had the 90 min deep tissue massage and it was clear that Roy knew what he was doing. He is considerate and asked to make sure the pressure was the right amount. Roy also made time for me before I had to leave Portland. I felt some relief immediately after the massage session, which was great!
My experience with Roy was exceptional from start to finish. He was highly attentive, ensuring my comfort throughout the session and addressing all areas of tension with great care and precision. Working in a field where, even with the best ergonomics, the body can easily become misaligned, I truly appreciated Roy’s ability to restore balance and relieve deep muscle tension. After the session, I felt completely relaxed, realigned, and ready to tackle work comfortably again. I’ll definitely be returning regularly for maintenance treatments to keep my body feeling its best.
Roy truly knows his craft. This was hands down one of the best massage sessions I’ve ever had. His technique, attention to detail, and intuitive approach made a huge difference. It’s clear he genuinely cares about both his work and the well-being of his clients. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and cared for. Highly recommend!
