I saw dr birecree for several months back in 2012. She was cruel and compassionless. I switched doctors and got the correct diagnoses and found actual healing after I left her office. She has apparent disdain for anyone who walks into her office looking for help. Avoid her at all costs.

I saw Dr Birecree when she worked at outside in PDX. I guess she became jaded and irritated by the types of people who came to see her. Homeless people for the most part. People at the lowest points of their lives. People seeking help to improve their lives. She lost compassion. She lost her temper with me. Before her, I trusted Doctors without question. Now I wonder every time I go to the doctor if some fed-up jaded doctor is going to treat me like that again. Why am I writing about something that happened 15 years ago? Because my current psychiatrist pointed out to me that I'm constantly afraid of what she's going to change. She said during our first appointment it was clear that I was scared. My medications keep me safe and keep me alive. They keep other people around me safe too. You can't, desperately grasping for control, threaten to take a patient's medications away. This is not de-escalation. This is not boundary setting. It is abuse of power. I hope you have improved.
