I honestly can’t praise The Dynamo Project enough. From the moment you walk through the door you’re made to feel welcome. The team do an incredible job creating a positive environment for everyone there. They run loads of activities for the lads, art classes, gym sessions, meditation and monthly walks which really helps bring everyone together and gives people something positive to focus on. I’ve been creating content for their socials recently and seeing the work they do up close has been inspiring. What they’re doing genuinely changes lives.

I’ve had the chance to see The Dynamo Project up close and the work they do within recovery is genuinely brilliant. It’s more than just a support service – it feels like a proper community. The way they bring people together through activities while supporting people in recovery really makes a difference. What stood out to me most is the unity between the lads involved. You can see how much they look out for each other and the sense of belonging that comes from being part of the group. That kind of environment is massive for people rebuilding their lives. The project does a great job of mixing support with things like sport and activities, which helps give people routine, purpose and something positive to focus on. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort goes into what they’re doing. Honestly, it’s great to see a project like this making such a positive impact in the community. The Dynamo Project deserve a lot of credit for the work they’re doing. Kieran and the team are doing a tremendous job.

This place changed my life! Amazing staff, amazing activities and the day programme is the only thing that has ever worked to get me clean. I have tried a lot of other recovery routes and none have had an impact in my life the way the dynamo project has. Would 100% recommend if anybody is struggling this is the place to be. So very grateful for everything they have done for me.

Its really good to see that the Support Groups are continuimg in 2026, and to know that previous people attending are welcomed back as well as newcomers. It's not always the easiest move to make, in walking into a room full of strangers, worrying that you may be judged or embarrassed by someone. This never happens and you are welcomed by Helen and Baylie who run the sessions and both have experience of active addiction within their own families. It is so good to get a better understanding of issues related to living with someone struggling with addiction. Such a complex problem but its really helpful to share information and speak with others facing the same issues. So worthwhile.
