Love Renia (Dr. Smith)! Sheβs super friendly and easy to talk to and I feel she really does care about her patients:) Iβve been with her now for a few years and in the past she has always looked out for my health first in terms of encouraging exercise & healthy habits and taking any concerns I have seriously regarding my treatment. Especially for example when I was diagnosed with a mild heart murmur, she immediately suggested switching medications as a possibility if needed. I feel like alot of medical professionals would have a tendency to brush over that but she took the time to stop and have a discussion about it as well as check in with me many times afterwards. I highly recommend π
Iβve only had an initial consultation so far with Dr. Renia Smith but she proved to be a very compassionate and determined doctor. I thoroughly appreciated how structured her consultation was; she asked a series of questions as well as follow up questions to some of my answers. And though it was structured, it didnβt seem like an interview, it was more of conversation which made me feel less overwhelmed. I also appreciated the fact that she makes herself readily available for her clients, at least that is what she mentioned. She seemed very determined to get me treatment, and also helped me understand some of the reasons why my body functions a certain way (in great detail, I believe). She is a very understanding doctor from my ~2 hours of talking with her. I felt safe and hopeful and that is why I give 5 stars. I totally recommend if you are able.
Solidarity is an incredible resource for mental health. My practitioner has been abundantly helpful in my steps towards getting control of my anxiety with complete understanding of my mental health history and ample generosity given my financial status and schedule. Finding empathetic doctors has been a lifelong struggle and iβm incredibly grateful for the fine folks at Solidarity.
