I first met Angela in 2022 and it was admiration at first sight. She is one of the most knowledgeable, warm, intelligent, kind, patient, funny, and safe people I ever met. She’s also brave, which I love, Brave in her truth, testimony, and story. She holds the kind of space I wished I’d had when my mom died and is very intentional, thoughtful, and real in her approach to us minding our mind and loving our story. No matter where you are in your journey, Angela helps to pull you out of stuck thinking to forward feeling. She’s the best! She holds space like a true professional, but also as a compassionate human. Mother Hunger changed my life and diving deeper into with Angela’s guidance is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Angela is easily one of the most supportive, genuine, kind, funny, and nurturing people I’ve ever met. She is honest, encouraging, and uplifting in all she does. She has a gift of knowing how to empower you at your darkest moments in an inexplicable way. I would recommend her services to anyone seeking guidance, I’ve never felt so supported or seen by anyone and I’m eternally grateful to have found this woman! She has truly changed my life for the better. :*)
I was blessed to work with Angela in her Mother Hunger class. It was a great experience in my healing journey. I’ve been through other therapies in the military but nothing like the another Hunger course. She’s helped me to become a better mom and wife by helping me to understand myself better. She is so knowledgeable, sweet, empathetic and doesn’t judge. It’s not easy for me to share some things in my life but Angela never makes me feel bad for sharing. I feel supported, understood, and heard with Angela. I always feel a peace talking to her and listening to her advice. She truly is an amazing and funny person and I’m so happy to have met her and been able to work with her. She makes things easy to understand and I’m so grateful to her for sharing her knowledge and helping me to become a stronger woman. Your search has ended here, call her! Angela is the absolute best!
I had the privilege of attending a Motherless Daughters retreat recently where Angela was one of the facilitators, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She brought such openness, compassion, and authenticity to every moment. She shared from her own experience in a way that was deeply moving and made everyone feel seen and understood. Angela has incredible knowledge around trauma, healing, and the unique grief that comes with mother loss. She guided us through difficult conversations with such grace and care, while also somehow being one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Her laugh is absolutely infectious, and brought so much lightness and comfort to our time together. If you ever have the chance to work with Angela, take it. She’s a gift.
Angela is a delight to work with. She helped me feel feelings I haven’t felt in decades. She made me feel heard and that my words mattered. Her knowledge around young mother loss was instrumental in my healing process…an ongoing journey that I am so happy she is a part of.
I completed the Mother Hunger course with Angela in December 2023. I had read Mother Hunger, and wasn’t finding the support I needed in my local community to navigate the complexity of this attachment injury alone. I found Angela’s web site and learned she does online groups and was based in the state of Washington where I live. I was nervous at first to meet the other women in the group because my mother is still alive and lives near me. Yet I knew in my core after reading “Mother Hunger” that I had developed the attachment injury due to my mother’s own traumatic past and inability to connect emotionally with me at any point in my life. Angela taught us all, and nurtured us all as we shared our pain. She helped us connect the pain we carry inside to what happen to us because of the lack of mothering we received. I now understand myself so much better. The group became a new family to me. The women in our cohort have developed a bond and system for supporting each other. They get my deep pain, like no one else ever has. We are healing together. I encourage anyone lost in the overwhelming discomfort of Mother Hunger to join one of Angela’s groups. You won’t be sorry you did. Michelle B. Spokane, WA
Angela has been such a gift not only for me but also for my family as I learn how to be a better mom, partner, friend, etc. She has helped me overcome deep loss and grief and learn how to navigate this world to be my best self. Other friends/family who've I referred to her have also benefited from her compassionate, heart-felt counseling. Her humor is refreshing and relatable which makes her more approachable and makes me feel less alone in my personal endeavors, struggles and internal voices. I think of our time together as my self-care more rejuvenating than any spa service or the like. I can't recommend Angela enough.
I've had the pleasure of working with Angela for nearly 4 years now. I credit her for immensely helping me tackle the grief of losing my mother at 20, along with the subsequent anxiety and PTSD. I found her use of EMDR for more triggering memories to be very successful, and have adopted many of her methods for managing anxiety in my daily life. She is someone you feel an instant connection with and are comfortable speaking from the heart to. I've recommended her to multiple of my friends who also love her as much as I do! -Racheal H.

She provides a safe and loving environment and goes above and beyond for her clients. I have been to other therpist throughout my life and I personally have never had such an amazing experience. I am extremely grateful for her and the growth she has helped me produce throughout my experience with her. 5 stars just isn’t enough. 🙏
Angela is amazing. I would never have come this far in my healing journey had it not been for the work we’ve done together. She is kind, empathetic, funny and relatable. I feel so fortunate to have found such a knowledgeable and caring therapist.
