I have tried contacting Dr. Alison DeMiero 7 times over the last week because I need help refilling my prescription. She asked if she could see me for an hour long appointment before refilling. I said "I don't have insurance so that would cost a lot for me, but I feel fine, I don't feel an hour appointment is necessary for me since nothing has changed, could we maybe do a 15 minute appointment?" She has then proceeded to ghost me entirely, doesn't respond to calls, texts, emails, or the portal. I am now out of my meds and have to find a new doctor because this one can't take time out of her BUSY week (works from home) to respond to her patient. Very unethical to start someone on a new medication, tell them to get off their old one, and then abandon them so they have to withdrawal from both at the same time.
