Dr Raphaely, now retired, was the most wonderful physician. He is intelligent, extremely professional, wise, so kind. He still helps me, years after seeing him, everyday I think of his words. Dr Raphaely is also an awesome human, he spoke so highly of his wife who he loves so much, his sons (both, loved so much for their individuality), adores his daughter. Proud grandfather, spoke highly of his children 's partners. While he mentioned his family, he was excellent with the Dr/patient boundary, it's hard to imagine him outside of his office, which also made me comfortable enough to tell him anything. His mindfulness gets me thru painful cancer stuff to this day. I think of what he'd say, when I get really sad. He knew so much about psychiatry, the brain, and had a huge amount of patience, with me as a patient. I hope he knows his work as a psychiatrist made a huge difference, lasting, in his patients' lives, and that some of us pray for him (and his family,) daily. I know the Dr/patient boundary helps since we patients don't worry about our Drs, the details of their lives don't prevent us from caring about them & wanting the best for their personal lives. Dr Raphaely left a Grand Legacy as a psychiatrist behind, when he retired.

Every meeting was hell. No compassion, arrogant and belittling.

I've worked with Dr. Raphaely for over 10 years on my anxiety. I love his approach of mixing mindfulness with Western psychiatrics. He also has a very calm and fun personality that I work well with

I worked with Dr. Raphaely during my dark times. He always had a smile for me and a listening ear. He is a true advocate for people who need support. He has a serious side and a funny side. A perfect balance! Love this guy.

I switched care to Dr. Raphaely recently and have seen him twice. I could not be more happier! He is very attentive and an active listener. He also is very thorough when explaining things and takes all the time needed to make sure his patient understands his point of view. He does not force his opinions - rather he invites the patient to consider alternatives and talk through them. He is very balanced in his critique (I.e. when reviewing care from my previous provider). He is very personable and has a great sense of humor. Just talking to him feels therapeutic and I walk away from each appointment energized! I would definitely place him in the top 1% of doctors!

I’ve been a patient of Dr.Raphaely’s for 5 years. The healing I’ve received through his combination of teaching and sound medical treatment has been nothing short of a miracle. I am able now to pursue happiness without condemning myself or others. I check in with him now periodically for insight, correction and the love of learning.

Dr. Raphaely has been amazing and a great support for 7 years. I've seen him from when i got pregnant and had to be off my medications until now. He always has very wise things to say for me to think about and help through my rough times.
