If you want to get talked “at” and leave feeling like you were just read the glossary of a psychology 101 text book, then this is your person! Tip: scheduling any follow up should be done via email or request an explicit confirmation. My experience was that I asked to schedule another appt, but was never provided with a date/time or confirmation of any kind, and then got charged for a no-show because I did not come to an appt I had no idea was scheduled. Had I known, I would have cancelled with plenty of lead time; however, I was not aware of an appt being scheduled until the day of, when I received an email. To make this even harder to swallow, my first appt was pushed a week via a last-minute email from Angela.

Saw Dr. Davis for about 6 months and it’s been a year since finishing with her. I still use the tools she taught me today and am very grateful to have had her support and guidance :)

After seeing 3 or 4 therapists throughout my life, finding Dr. Davis was such a huge relief. She helped me work through my transition out of my toxic marriage and helped me deal with depression, facilitated increased self-awareness and some life-changing empowerment was the result. She listens, uses proven techniques and also helps guide and direct. She isn't one of those therapists who just listens and doesn't give any feedback, she comes up with actionable and effective steps. I have recommended her to multiple people.
