Went to see Dan about my lower back but he had identified few things in my shoulder as well and my glutes which really helped. I thought he was fantastic and explained everything he was doing and how I could help myself. Highly recommended him and would be going again to him.
Had a sports massage with Dan today and would definitely recommend him if you’re after a massage in a comfortable, welcoming environment. I’ve had massages before where I hadn’t felt in control or comfortable - however this is where Dan really shines. His holistic approach to massage therapy and calming personality allowed me to feel at ease - each step of the massage was clearly explained and I was encouraged to flag any areas I’d like more work in or if I felt in any discomfort throughout. Feeling comfortable in this environment is crucial to really benefit from massage and I definitely felt that here. I would definitely recommend having a sports massage here, you won’t be disappointed!
As a believer and dedicate of honing mind, body and soul, and also understanding their traumas and scars, I met a kindred spirit in Dan, from our first casual conversation. With Willow Tree Mind & Body, Dan is ahead of the psychotherapeutic curve of marrying speech/talk counselling, with the somatic work the body needs to release old wounds and purge itself. I found out personally, that talk therapy alone, does not clear the emotional and traumatic hurts of our body keeping the score - as Dr Bessel Van De Kolk, has written about. Having a two hour session with Dan was excellent. With the first pertaining to what felt like two self-aware men having a good ol' chat, and the second hour where Dan got his hands, elbows and massage gun in my taut kickboxer's back, neck and shoulders - where, he added, I'd been carrying much of my recent mental and emotional pains. I've had therapy. I've had sport's massages. But combining them into one session, was a revelation. I can't recommend Dan and Willow Tree enough as the new-age way of us understanding, our body and mind and soul, are interlinked in our joys and our pains, and should not be treated like separate problems. Just be prepared - the following days, as is usual with therapy and sports massages - will be emotional, tiresome and heavy. But that is what was blocked, releasing through you. Thank you so much, Dan, you are a welcoming and kind gentleman. I look forward to another two hour blockbuster!
I’m incredibly grateful for the support I’ve received from Dan. Therapy has helped me understand myself better and navigate day-to-day life with more confidence. I’ve grown so much, and I truly appreciate the care and guidance along the way. Working with Dan has been a truly positive experience. He has helped me improve my mental health and given me tools that genuinely make a difference in my everyday life. I feel supported, understood, and more in control than I ever have before. I’m very thankful for the progress I’ve made and would recommend him to anyone seeking help. I look forward to our upcoming sessions. Thank you 🙏🏻
I worked with Dan at Willow Tree Therapy and found it a really positive experience. He really understands the pressures of modern life and creates a space where you can actually slow down, reflect, and get some clarity. His approach is practical and down-to-earth, it’s not just about talking, it’s about finding real ways to move forward and feel more in control. I’d recommend him to anyone.
I’ve been seeing Dan at Willow Tree Therapy for a good few weeks now. It has been a very positive experience. Dan is compassionate, attentive and creates a safe space to talk openly. I’ve felt heard and supported in every session. I highly recommend to anyone who’s on a self help journey!
Would definitely recommend ! 3 sessions in and I already feel like Im making big progress. As someone who has never gone to any therapy, Dan has made it a very comfortable open space where I feel heard and understood as well as receiving briliant support through my self care journey.
I’ve known Dan for years, and I can confidently say that he has a rare gift for truly listening and offering thoughtful, grounded guidance. His ability to hold space without judgment has helped me through some of the most challenging moments in my life. Dan brings a deep sense of calm, presence, and compassion to every conversation, and it’s clear that helping others is something he does from the heart. I have no doubt that his holistic therapy practice will offer the same wisdom, care, and insight that he’s brought to so many people in his life. Highly recommend.
Cannot recommend Dan & Willow Tree enough. Excellent, thought provoking and a real passion in helping people find who they are within themselves and their journey.
