Clare spent time really listening carefully to everything I said. She observed how I moved, asked me to perform many simple tasks to help her assess exactly what was going on with me. She found a muscle weakness that I wasn't even aware of and which was contributing to the problem I had come to her for help. This was rounded off by one of the finest massages I have had - and I've had very many massages over the years! To sum up: I felt listened to; closely observed; knots kneaded out of my muscles and I'm now looking forward to receiving remedial exercises that Clare asked to spend a few days thinking about to make sure they suit me and my needs properly. Would I recommend The Movement Therapist - most definitely and with no reservation!

Clare takes a holistic approach to find the root cause of aches and pains. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in her approach with good follow-up communication. Already her advice is making a difference in reducing my knee pain.

Clare was very thorough, detailed, attentive, and personable throughout. It was a very insightful experience and I'm looking forward to beginning my suggested corrective exercises and a follow-up session/s in time. Recommended to me from a friend and I'd happily recommend as well.

Clare is so thorough, and knowledgeable she makes you feel quite relieved and hopeful for positive change! I’ve been sent home with exercises and advice and I can’t wait to get started and feel better and more comfortable in my body.

Clare is professional but friendly and you always feel at ease. She really listens and goes that extra mile by sending you exercises to try at home between sessions. She's clearly knowledgeable and I always feel great after a session.

Clare is a highly skilled therapist who helped me to feel at ease from the moment I met her. I started to attend Clare regularly following a shoulder injury late last year - during the initial assessment she took her time to understand the problem using my descriptions, watching my movement (or lack thereof at that time) and her own hands-on assessment. Following this I had a much better understanding of what was going on. Clare provided a tailored mix of movement, stretching and massage to help me along my road to recovery. I left with some exercises/movements to do at home and feeling a whole lot better! Although my shoulder is much better now, I’ve kept up my regular appointments for maintenance and always feel like this is one of my favourite self care activities! Thanks so much Clare

My first time at the Movement Therapist and it wont be my last. I found Clare took her time to understand my lifestyle and past injuries before concluding on other current alignment issue. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a manner I understood. I would recommend Clare to anyone.

I have been going to Clare’s classes for about 4 years now and definitely feel the benefit in hips, back, shoulders and feet. In fact all over! Her on-line classes have been excellent, great communications skills and easy to follow. Not only will your flexibility, mobility and strength improve but so will your understanding of your own body and how it works.

In Pilates classes, Clare has a knack of knowing exactly what your body needs for that specific day. It is impossible to leave her class and not feel better: your body moves and feels better; you are relaxed and refreshed. She can tailor every exercise to suit individual abilities and needs. Her attention to detail is astounding - she misses nothing in class. I've attended many classes and instructors over the years. Many classes were they tell you and may even show you what to do. But Clare corrects you and makes sure you are doing it and feeling it right, not allowing your body to take any shortcuts. This means each and every class provides max benefit for your body. I cannot rate Clare highly enough.
