A truly compassionate and insightful professional. Her approach reflects deep expertise and genuine care for mental well-being. Highly respected in the field and consistently praised for creating a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.
I was a client of Francesca's back in 2022 for her outdoor sessions. It was a time where I was dipping my toe into therapy as a solution for my problems. I saw a few therapists and ended up having bad experiences with two of these therapists. Francesca was one of these two. My first negative point is the idea of outdoor therapy sessions. You have no privacy in a public space and if you wish to talk about deep and personal topics then you have to accept the possibility of people overhearing. Outdoor therapy should not exist in my opinion. This was my only option with Francesca. My second negative point is judgment. Humans are judgemental by nature but therapy should be a judgment free zone. I felt judged at times when I shared some things with Francesca. I had this issue with one other therapist but not the rest I've seen. My third: large parts of our sessions were in silence. I was going through a weird time and wasn't the greatest at opening up but Francesca wasn't the greatest at opening me up either. I feel like a good therapist should be able and willing to communicate with anyone. Francesca accepted the silence and we just walked. I feel like the money was all that she wanted. My last negative point: I had a moment in my last session where Francesca suggested I could benefit more from our sessions if I increased the frequency. I felt in this moment that this was a money grab. I ended our sessions after this and tried another therapist. I've come to learn that therapy is not the solution for everyone. You can only help yourself. Though, the last therapist I saw in Glasgow was really good at what she does. If anyone feels the need for therapy then my advice is to never feel the need to stick with one. Shop around and find one you click with.
