I’ve always used Blythswood Health and Wellbeing for all my offshore medicals, and they’re absolutely brilliant. They always manage to fit me in at short notice, making sure I’m ready to go offshore on time. Rachel and the team are super friendly, professional, and always happy to help. Very good service from the company when in for my ENG1 medical. The doctor was friendly but fair and very open with questions and advice. The reception team were very friendly and saved me extra work with my employer by sending me digital copies of my certificate and receipt to claim expense back. Only complaint I would make would be the amount of forms I had to fill in on arrival. As I have poor handwriting, I feel it would have been better if they were sent to me digitally and I could fill these in online prior to arrival could also email back leaving me only to sign and date them.

I’ve always found staff helpful and professional here. Place is looking great after renovations. Was grateful to be offered water in large comfortable waiting room. Dr. Rachel is helpful and accommodating- will use again.

Attended the practice for an ENG-1 medical. Called the day before, and they managed to slot me in the next day due to a cancellation - I was very grateful for this. The experience was slick and maintained a high standard throughout. The equipment was some of the best I’ve used out of all the medical examinations I’ve done since working at sea, especially the booth for testing hearing. Overall I can’t fault the process and all the staff there are a credit to the practice. I will be making my best efforts to use the practise again and will send friends and colleagues their way if the require the same service.
