I cannot recommend Aspect Autism Consultancy highly enough. Caroline has been an incredible source of support for our family and our children. From our very first interaction, Caroline was very welcoming, understanding, and genuinely compassionate. Her knowledge and expertise in ASD is outstanding. Caroline took the time to understand our children's individual needs, helping us feel supported and informed every step of the way. Caroline's warmth, patience and caring manner made a huge difference. She listened without judgment, answered all of our questions, and provided practical advice that has been invaluable to us. Also, the ongoing aftercare and continued support she offers, ensuring families never feel alone after the initial consultation is such a great help, and knowing we can ask for advice at any time. We are extremely grateful for Caroline's guidance and would wholeheartedly recommend Aspect Autism Consultancy to anyone seeking kind, knowledgeable and personalised ASD support.
Even from the beginning Alison has been amazing. Reading these reviews is heart warming. And the journey to self discovery does not have to go on for years, because my feeling is that this company really know what they are doing and I feel good knowing I will be helped through this. I am an older adult and thought this may not be worthwhile but from the outset it definitely is.
After researching online I approached Aspect Autism Consultancy to get an autism assessment for my daughter. We had a very positive experience throughout the whole process and the report provided us with invaluable information. I have subsequently used their services again to assess my other 2 children for autism. Alison and the team were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and understanding. The Glasgow clinic, in which our face to face assessments were carried out, was welcoming, calming and comfortable. In addition, the process from booking our free initial 30 minute consultation through to the face to face assessment was very quick. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking an autism assessment.
We had an extremely positive experience with Alison at Aspect Autism. Aspect initially diagnosed our daughter’s Autism in 2021, and we were so impressed with the quality of the assessment that we returned this year for further advice on understanding her adaptive functioning and what educational support would best meet her needs after she struggled in mainstream school. The Vineland report and classroom observation were thorough, clear and thoughtfully prepared, providing crucial evidence that helped our daughter secure a place at a specialist ASN high school — something we don’t believe would have happened without Alison’s work. Alison has also provided invaluable ongoing support to our family, showing real understanding and care. We are incredibly grateful for the difference she has made and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Aspect Autism.
Terrific service from Alison as Aspect Autism. I referred my brother recently as I felt he needed some support as he has always displayed traits of ADHD and this was confirmed to be the case. He can now focus plans around an official diagnosis and subsequent sessions with Alison. Thanks very much!
As a professional working in mental health services, I was somewhat daunted by the prospect of taking the journey of autism assessment. I approached Aspect Autism, having read almost all of their 5 star reviews and can, from both a professional and personal level say, everyone one of which is deserved. I initially met Alison Geddes and later joined by Nikki Wallace, who, in my opinion, are experts in their field. I can’t thank you enough for everything you have done for me; I thank you from the bottom of my heart. For those reading this, and you’ll know who you are, take care of yourself.
I'm currently 59 and have just been through the process of confirming that I'm a person with autism. I chose to do this with Alison at Aspect Autism after reviewing the websites of various providers in Glasgow. I got the feeling that Aspect Autism would be more personal and caring. This was very important to me. I have found the whole experience to be just so. There was no pressure so I could proceed as far and as fast as I wanted and Alison was very patient and compassionate throughout. I'm grateful for all this.
I had an adult autism assessment that was very quick from start to finish - around 4 weeks total - with Eve and Alison. This was ideal for me given that I was severely burned out when I contacted Aspect. I was concerned that my suspected (now confirmed) very high masking would make me more difficult to assess or get a diagnosis but I was reassured by Eve that this was not the case. I was also treated with respect and understanding throughout the process. I felt that Aspect were very clear with what was required to improve my mental health especially considering I actually knew very little about autism before pursuing the diagnosis. Given my flavour of autism is one of neverending analysis and clarity-seeking, I was incredibly grateful for how clearly Alison stated what was necessary. Overall I would highly recommend Aspect's services.
I came to Alison after a friend recommended I pursue an Autism diagnosis. After years of struggling with my mental health, I thought it couldn’t hurt. Well, thanks to Alison and the team at Aspect, I finally have the answer to the question that is me. She has been so easy to talk to start to finish and beyond. She has made me comfortable and understood, when I have had little understanding of myself following my diagnosis. The office is clean and cosy, no harsh Dr’s office vibes and I never felt tense of nervous while I have visited. Even while I was emotional, I was allowed to feel my emotions and never dismissed. Which had been an ongoing issue in my life. While I am at the start of my journey of learning how to live my life with the knowledge and acceptance of my Autism, I know I can reach out to Alison for support! Thank you so much for helping me finally discover who I am and why I think the way I do it truly has meant the world!
I had the pleasure of making a promotional video and also shooting photographs of the Alison and the team from Aspect Autism Consultancy. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful which makes all the difference in my line of work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
