The Good Therapy — Counselor in Charlotte, NC

She smiled at odd times and was unhelpful. There was a general lack of empathy and the couples session we had with her this morning was a very expensive waste of time. It was an hour of pointless questions. She didn’t earn that session fee. As someone who values people in this position, I was extremely disappointed by this experience. And heartbroken by the prospect of anyone else coming here and reaching out for help and receiving this instead. Truly awful experience.
Elvita Kondili is excellent! She is very straight forward and direct with me when she needs to be, however sympathizes with whatever situation you happen to be in. She is very perceptive of any situation I've come forward with. Bottom line is I continue to see her because I always feel better walking out of a session than when I did walking in (with or without my other half). I was very skeptical to "seek help" or "counseling" from a professional (or anyone for that matter), but she's done an excellent job of making me feel comfortable and wanting to come back. This is the first time I've seen anyone for counseling/therapy, and never once did I think about changing to someone else. As a bonus, appointments are easy to schedule right on the website!
