I have a child who has been going here for almost a year. I have seen more improvement in his aggressive behaviors and communication than I had seen in his previous 3 years at other ABA places around the Charlotte area. The way they help children with aggressive behaviors while also having them be able to keep hold of their own dignity and self worth is amazing. The RBTs and BCBAs work so well together to do their very best to not only help my child with these behaviors to find ways to cope and calm down, but also in their own way communicate what they need in that moment. I have seen on the cameras that they have throughout the facility how they do a great job keeping other children safe when my child has had a moment of aggressive behavior, but as a parent I have stepped in and said he's having a bad day and let's try again tomorrow. And they are very willing to work with me in what works best for my child and other children at the clinic. They will work with you whether it's day to day or week to week. I would recommend SOS Charlotte as a wonderful place for any level of an ASD child to thrive, grow, feel safe, and feel cared about!
I feel like they threw my grandson away gave us there word they deal with aggressive behaviors and they wouldn't "suspend" him which means kicked out now i can't trust any facilities word on getting him the help he need ...now he's home with no therapy or any type education so be weary if your child has aggressive behaviors ask if they specifically deal with that before wasting time......the staff is very polite we......in response we haven't been offerd or had hardly any communication since he was kicked out
Success on the Spectrum cares about developing the whole child, they take the time to get to know each child as an individual. When they know the child’s needs they can tailor each plan to ensure everyone reaches their full potential.
I have 2 boys who started going to this center 2 months ago. They had previously been at a different company for ABA services for the past 3 years and our family couldn't be more happy with the services they are receiving now. Between the building and the organization of the center and the staff at SOS Charlotte our boys are doing so well and are finally showing progress in goals that they had previously been working on for months. There are so many different rooms for my boys to find ways to regulate and get there energy out so that they can learn and grow. They have life skills rooms, classrooms, lunch room, sensory room, art room, and play areas. All these different rooms make it so that when its time for my boys to learn and work on goals they are regulated and ready to learn. It's different in the most positive ways from all the others centers we have toured. One of my favorite parts is that they have a parent room where you can view your child while there in therapy. There are cameras in every room. The staff make my boys feel special, safe, and loved and we couldn't be happier with finding this amazing place for them!!
This place was a dream! The staff is very friendly, cameras in every room viewable in the parent lounge, and the heartbeat of the place celebrates and educates children on the spectrum!
I absolutely love Success On The Spectrum. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming—it really feels like a place where kids and families are truly cared for. The space is beautifully designed and thoughtfully set up for both learning and play. You can just feel the love and intention behind everything they do! We have had nothing but positive experiences there and always look forward to going .
We attended a recent event to tour Success On the Spectrum. The place is perfectly designed for ABA therapy and will be a great asset for the Charlotte community. Many different, thoughtfully decorated, kid-friendly rooms are welcoming and conducive to ABA therapy. Some of the rooms are smaller, perfect for individual one-on-one sessions. Some rooms have a rock-climbing wall, ball pit with a slide, trampoline, grocery store, bouncing house, art center, reading center, entertainment area, and toys area. Kids would love to spend all day there. Parents can observe their kids' interactions on a large screen in a comfortable parents' lounge. We had to convert our bonus room to conduct ABA therapy for our son years ago, and are familiar with how necessary the right equipment and surroundings are for a successful therapy. We would have been so grateful to have access to a facility like this if it were available back then.
We visited with our 3 sons at the open house and we're throughly impressed! The facility was bright and inviting with dozens of interactive themed rooms focused on fun, learning and safety. The kids were so entertained with all the various activities that my youngest son did not want to leave!
My daughter and I attended an opening celebration and tour this past weekend. The center is awesome—really big, beautiful, and so well set up. My daughter had a blast checking out the sensory rooms, the life skills room, and the mock classroom. Everything is super kid-friendly and fun, but also clearly designed to help the kids learn and grow. The staff were all so friendly and helpful—we felt really welcomed from the moment we walked in. It’s such a great space, and I’m excited to see all the good it’s going to do for families in the community.
This location is amazing! The staff was super friendly and attentive to my daughter! I was thoroughly suprised at how big the inside actually was. There’s plenty to do from play time to sensory exercises.
