Unfortunately, my experience with Safe Alliance was very disappointing. I could never get in contact with my advocate, Alissa, and to this day I still have not heard back from her since March 2026. I called twice to provide updates after losing my restraining order case and to discuss my housing situation, and each time I was told by the front desk that she would call me back — but I never received a response. I understand organizations like this may be overwhelmed and helping many people at once, but if staff are overloaded, cases should possibly be better distributed among team members so people don’t feel forgotten during vulnerable times. Thankfully, I am no longer in immediate danger or being threatened, but it’s concerning to think about others who may be depending on this organization during critical moments and struggling to get support. Based on my personal experience, I did not feel supported when I needed help the most.

I got bullied here all the time by clients and staff. No one actually care about you. I went back home to my abusive relationship. No here at safe alliance. I called the number and hung up on. Don't bother calling them they are so disrespectful and need training.. For people who bully for me ":I pround I'm disabled because that how God created me and he makes no mistakes". Staff learn to see people they are and stop judging..I wish I never came to Charlotte after everything. I have PTSD due mistreatment. When I was here I through better off dead because how I mishandled by staff and clients. Do better

Workers are terrible. People staying are terrible. Got kicked out just because i had some complaints(I didn't do anything). Thanks for keeping me safe for not even a month. Loved it.

The therapist told me (a trafficking victim) that prostitution is "empowering". Be really careful dealing with this place.

If I could give 0 stars, I WOULD! Safe alliance and the victims center are complete TRASH! I was ran around in a circle for 3 days before I actually go the help I needed. The workers sit in each other face all day and play. The women there are young and I highly doubt the are helpful unless this has happened to them. The office was empty when I went and no one would see me because they all had “high risk” appointments like my issue didn’t matter. This is exactly why people go handle their issues and problems on their own with crime, drugs and alcohol…because when you go to get the real help your turned away or treated like less than. I’d rather cry in the dark and deal with my pain than to ever seek help from places like this only to feel worst about myself and my situation. This place needs to be shut down, new staff rehired and extensively trained on how to help and talk to people with trauma. If I decide to jump off a bridge today, I’ll make sure to add this place and the victims center to my note and let them know they are to blame because I tried and I’m tired. I’ll seek help from the lord. Good bye

The building is beautiful, you get a studio like apt with bathroom and refrigerator in your room. They feed you lunch and dinner, but the staff acts like they have a sense of superiority and treat you as such. In my experience I had to beg for a roll of tp, I was threatened with CPS multiple times and they instilled fear in me so much so that I didn't feel safe from staff or the police. One example of why I was threatened with CPS- my children got sick and were extremely contagious, I didn't send them to school and was forced to by them. They didn't have any type of resources to offer me and whenever I tried to implement a plan, they always had a reason as to why it wouldnt work for them. I know staying in an abusive relationship is hard, especially if you have kids. I am only leaving this review in hopes to better prepare others because there is NO HELP out here and those that are placed to help you end up hindering. I will go as far to say that this place should be investigated AND the staff needs to get purged.

I would not be alive without the help & support I've received from the people at safe alliance. As a survivor of childhood abuse, incest & sexual assault I've struggled my whole life trying to manage the lasting impact & damage caused from it. The staff here listened, believed encouraged & supported me & helped me find my voice & learn to advocate for myself & see my worth.

We held a volunteer event benefiting Safe Alliance and they were amazing to work with! Paxtyn was super helpful and accommodating. She even came in to talk to the team before we put kits together. Highly recommend giving back to this wonderful organization and team.

Agent was doing something else in the background. Couldn’t care less about my emergency and gave me a phone number. And I quote “that’s the help”. In response to the owner. I did call back after your reply, same treatment. Maybe this business is committed to further traumatizing victims of malicious crimes in the community instead of providing “help”. The reviews below aren’t lying one bit.

So let's see. I was referred to them by the police to get a restraining order. Well I asked that if I went that day would they do my paperwork. So at least this time I got through the door. They didn't do anything for me. Yeah the other 2 times didnt even get to talk to anyone. So when I came here nope no help. I have called because my credit was ruined and need help getting an apartmart. Nope can't help me there. They can't help me financially either. I have lost wages and no money. So really what good are they.
