I am a massage therapist that noticed a change in one of my clients about two years ago while working on her (as soon as I touched her). She had started to see Jill. I had not been to a Rolfer in years but knew I needed to see her. My job and life had left me in a lot of pain and I was loosing mobility, especially in my neck. I am happy to say that my last session I could say I don't have pain anymore. Now we are just keeping things in good working order. I can't thank her enough. She has also helped me to find additional healing practices. She is always searching for new ways to heal and shares with me many other modalities such as Sound Baths and other emotional healing practitioners. Her experiences have inspired me to seek out additional healing in my life.
I know this sounds cliche, but I honestly can't say enough positive things about Jill Coyne and Rolfing! I started working with Jill because a knee injury had created hip problems which were not resolving with other treatments. I had been doing physical therapy, therapeutic massage and ultrasound for months, but Rolfing was the intervention that finally got me back in my hiking boots. Jill is highly skilled, an excellent listener, and an absolute pleasure to work with!
Before I found Jill I had a lot of unresolved issues with my back .I like to run ,practice yoga and Pilates .Through her amazing work ,Jill helped me with body alignment, range of motion, breathing and overall movement. I am so grateful that I found this wonderful professional, intelligent, extremely skillful intuitive, beautiful human.
I lived in Charlotte from 2017-2021 and was referred to Jill for a rolfing "10-series" to restore alignment and functionality to my body after years of agressive atheltic and weight training. Jill was so good that after my 10-series I kept seeing her on a monthly basis for maintenance visits. Jill's work allowed me to continue pushing my body to it's limits in training. I can't reccomend her enough.
Jill is simply the best. Rolfing is an underutilized specialty that can relieve the body from a lot pain throughout misalignment. Jill would have me walk then have me lay on the table and work on the point or points necessary to get my body realigned. It's not a massage but it works more long term than a traditional massage. Jill believes in what she does and it reflects in her treatment of her patients.
I had the opportunity to see Jill for a Rolfing session a few years ago when I lived in Charlotte and I must say I haven’t experienced anything else quite like it! It was truly amazing to feel my center of gravity shift after one session. I felt lighter and definitely increased my range of motion in my core. Sadly I had to move from Charlotte and I definitely would have continued sessions to loosen my hamstrings and improve my gait. I now live in NEPA and I can’t find anyone that does Rolfing. You’re truly gifted to be able to see Jill when you can!
I have been going to Jill 2 or 3 times a year for the past 4 years to keep my posture alignment and overall well being. Last May I over exercised and hurt my back. I was in pain and had difficulty moving and sleeping, getting in and out of a car and doing daily tasks to include even putting on my shoes. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Jill and her ability and commitment helping me. I was pain free and fully functioning in about a month. Jill has advanced education as a Rolfer and travels to wherever she needs to go to advance her knowledge and ability to help her clients. She is committed, kind and patient.
Rolfing with Jill has made a substantial impact on my stiffness, pain and mobility. I have accumulated many injuries over the years, most from car accidents. I have tried physical therapy, chiropractors, acupuncture, ice baths, massages, etc... Out of all of them working with Jill gave me the most and longest lasting benefits.
I was an athlete in my youth and decided to do masters track and field in my 60s As you might imagine, lot of injuries accompanied that decision. I worked with physical therapist and dry needling, and my chiropractor, but still had issues that were impeding my ability to compete. I discovered Jill on Google and made an appointment and got immediate relief, and Go to her on a regular basis, and end up national championship titles in my events. I highly recommend her to everyone. Aubrey Hilliard
Some people have a wonderful experience with their chiropractor. I was not one of those. I'd visited 3 different chiropractors in my life and never felt that I got any benefit for my back. So when I researched Rolfing, I thought it might be similar and went to Jill with a lot of doubts. However, my experience was very unique and not at all like my former Chiro experiences nor like any massage. I left feeling very different both physically and mentally - refreshed, renewed, walking more comfortably. When I went home, I immediately called my good friend and encouraged him to try it. Nothing else like it.
