NorthStar has been one of the most authentic life experiences that I have had. It’s so much more than a Recovery program. The therapists are mentors and friends, and have the perfect combination of being compassionate, but give tough love when you need it. I look forward to going and many times jokingly ask if I can stay there overnight and on the weekends :-). It’s such a safe haven and also a place of learning. It’s like you get mini psychology classes every single session. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be at NorthStar and encourage all who are struggling to give them a call or email. It’s my job to get and remain sober, but the support, education and accountability that I’ve gotten through them has helped more than anything that I have tried in the past. I can confidently say that Northstar has saved my life…..in every sense of the word.
NORTHSTARS PROGRAM IS VERY UNIQUE AND ENGAGING, IT IS NOT LIKE OTHER PROGRAMS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE TO COME TO THIS PROGRAM. THEY ARE VERY UNDERSTANDING, EMPATHETIC, AND PATIENT WITH THE CLIENTS - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM TO INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING SUBSTANCE ABUSE DIFFICULTIES.
Knowledgeable and caring staff that takes you in as part of their family, helping you along your journey in recovery. Would recommend to anyone struggling with any type of addiction and needing support.
Excellent staff, very informative, extremely knowledgeable, I've been to many treatment centers and I highly recommend northstar!
