Dr Lurie really cares about my care. He never let's me down. He has helped me in so many ways.
After a tragic loss Dr. Lurie has been an amazing piece in my healing process. I highly recommend him.
I am a POA for a former client of Dr. Lurie. He and his staff were explicitly told that all scheduling of appointments are to be made through me as the POA, that his client suffers from a cognitive impairment that impedes her memory. He and his staff continued to make appoints through the client herself, which caused more confusion for his client, leading to missed appointments and then sends her a termination letter stating " if I can not reliably see you in the office, then I cannot effective treat you." If it wasn't for the egregious behavior of Dr. Lurie failing to comply with the written instructions of the POA (as well as a verbal discussion by his client) then his client might have been compliant with her appointments. His behavior borders medical malpractice.
Although it's been a few years since I have been under the care of Dr. Lurie, I can honestly say he, along with his receptionist (I believe her name was Kimberly) and the initial referral by Dr. Lord allowed me to regain my love of life after a very difficult period. Outstanding care, recommend very highly!!! Amy C Nelson
I am writing this review not as a patient, but as the spouse of one. My spouse had not seen Dr. Laurie for 5 years and we did not know that after 3 years you are not considered a patient. My wife has been going thru emotional distress and we reached out to see if we could have medication prescribed for her symptoms. We were immediately judged as 'people trying to commit fraud.' We were honestly trying to seek help in a crisis. I honestly felt appalled that a 'professional for mental health' and other employees, showed no compassion towards another human being, specially when it has to do with mental health wellness.
Dr Lurie is a outstanding physician and a very caring human being. I highly recommend this wonderful man. Thomas Isaacs
Dr. Lurie is top notch, period.....
I've been a patient of Dr. Lurie for nearly 14 years. He is wonderful.
Dr. Lurie was wonderful to work with. I was referred by a friend, and went for my initial consultation, about 2 weeks ago. He listened, let me talk, and also asked pertinent questions. I came away with a treatment plan, that seems very relevant and sensible. I would recommend Dr. Lurie, to anyone, that seeks help in this area.
Great Dr.
