Dr. McGraw is so calm and ensures he makes you feel comfortable and genuinely cares about getting you the right help. Only first time with him and still would recommend. As a nurse, I recommend Lifestance to all of my patients that are struggling.
Awful experiences with this office. I was charged an extra $140 for “talk therapy” after my first appointment with my psychiatrist at Lifestance. I never got an explanation as to what qualifies as talk therapy and what doesn’t even after asking. When I went back for my second appointment, my psychiatrist didn’t remember ANY details from my first appointment even though she extensive notes. It was like we never even met. The whole beginning of the appointment was me reminding her what we had talked about during my initial appointment 3 weeks prior. Didn’t even remember the medication she prescribed me, even after looking through her notes. She rushed me through this appointment and I left feeling pretty disappointed. Like I inconvenienced the whole office by having an appointment. My last appointment I had to reschedule and I gave two days notice. They’ve added a $100 charge to my account three times now, even after making multiple calls to explain how I rescheduled two days before. Lifestance doesn’t care about your mental health, they just want your money. Do yourself a favor and find another provider.
i have enjoyed coming here the few times i’ve been. the intake staff is friendly and helpful, and megan comer is always so kind and supportive with me.
Hallelujah! In Dr Brett Guidry's care for 3 years, nothing but praise. Brett nailed the med mgmt I needed fast! Brett has shown me a Rare Empathy I cherish. At first I was a MESS-rage, trauma, tears. Overwhelmed. He stick with me-craziness. 5⭐
Made my mental health worse. Got charged 375 and only got seen for half an hour because there was no one at the front desk and the ipad needed to check in was locked. I walked in there with just one question and couldn't even get it answered. The doctor wasted time rambling on because I refused medication and I get it ok, its their job to prescribe but also to diagnose, which is what I came there for. She focused only on my symptoms of anxiety and depression which I told her that yes, I do have these things but who doesn't right now? Have you seen the price of groceries? But that was not what I came there for, I've struggled with psychotic symptoms on and off for years now and that's what I came there for, to seek a diagnosis for it since my therapist was stumped as to what the heck is wrong with me. But I couldn't even get to explain until the very end of the session. Then she just goes idk maybe schizophrenia? Then goes back to trying to sell me meds. Why can't you take no for an answer? Was downright depressed when I saw the bill for this nonsense so I cancelled my next session. I get home today finally ready to pay the bill and I see that they added an extra 95 now my bill is 470! What the hell? Is it because I cancelled the other session? I really only bit the bullet and saw them because I had a really bad break from reality 3 months ago. I don't make a lot of money. Everyone always tells you to "seek help!", "get help!" but no one ever tells you how expensive it is. Honestly wish I had read the reviews before booking an appointment. I was in a really bad place mentally and felt like I NEEDED help. Instead all I got was a fat nothing burger and almost 500 in expenses. What a joke.
Called and scheduled an appointment as a new patient for 12/15/25 at 11 am with D. Logan. Day of the appointment I realize that I haven’t gotten paperwork or a link for a virtual check in. Called LS, all my info was in the system but there was no record of the appointment?
Our experience with the psychologist was fine, but billing has been a nightmare. We’ve been dealing with multiple billing issues for 8 months now, with no resolution in sight. I have spent multiple hours on the phone with insurance and LifeStance agents, and thanks to the insurance company could tell the billing department the exact errors they made on our billing, but nothing has been resolved. I’ve had communications on the portal gone completely unanswered. I absolutely cannot recommend LifeStance due to these on-going issues, with no meaningful response.
I love my therapist but the billing department is a joke. I have paid every copay for all my visit and I have the receipts and bank statements to prove it and they are saying I owe them money. Ive called, emailed, reviewed, and messaged on the patient portal and NO ONE has reached out and every time i have called, they say it will take 2-3 WEEKS for the issuebto be resolved and im still waiting months later. Ive been dealing with this issue for months and no one ever contacts me back.
I was very pleased with my level of care from the front desk to my counselor/therapist Brianna. I felt very comfortable and at ease and found the experience enjoyable and helpful. Thank you. Emily Iannielli
I’ve been seeing both a Therapist and a Psychiatrist at this office for about a year, and while my providers have been great, it’s nearly impossible to get in touch with the administrative team. Every time I call the direct number I was given, I end up on hold for over 10 minutes, only to reach someone at a completely different office who can’t really help since they’re not connected to my providers. You’d think using the patient portal would be easier, but the response time is often over 72 hours. That may not sound like a big issue, but it becomes a serious problem when you need a medication refill and can’t get timely assistance. And if you read the other negative reviews, you’ll see many other patients have experienced the exact same issues.
