My partner and I sought out Dr. Geyer as a couples therapist hoping to work through recurring issues. While I welcomed Dr. Geyer’s exploration into my contributions to miscommunications in our relationship, it became apparent session after session that she would not nudge or encourage explorations into my partners contributions to our issues. In our final session, Dr. Geyer demonstrated clear bias and crossed professional boundaries including raised voice, unfounded speculative accusations, disrespectful body language, and name-calling. It was - in my partners words - “brutal”. In the end, Dr. Geyer’s behavior caused irrevocable harm to myself and to my partner. I do not recommend seeking her out in any therapeutic capacity.
I will not recommend Dr Scott Geyer as a parent coordinator, not even to coordinate a luncheon, she is vias. Oversteps her boundaries, takes sides, and frankly I found her very unprofessional. I did not have a goid experience at all, made my life impossible, So sad to have professionals behaving so bad.
