Patricia Worby is kind, understanding, knowledgeable and able to fix many physical problems with her experienced mind/body work. I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome on and off for 9 years. I was never bedridden but often sofa-bound, and became very unreliable as a primary school teacher (not to mention wife and mother) for months at a time. Retirement didn't help but 4 years later Patricia DID! Her scientific background and own experience of fatigue appealed to me and she certainly proved that I had made the right choice. Patricia knew the right questions to ask and the right techniques to use, making a huge, noticeable improvement to my fatigue within the first 6 sessions. It felt like a miracle! There is also no "going backwards" as she can explain. I continue to grow and go forwards. My CFS has gone, and life has resumed thanks to her. Beg, borrow or...erm...??? Your life will thank you.
As soon as I came across Patricia I could tell she was going to be instrumental in my recovery from Chronic Fatigue. She is incredibly knowledgeable and put me at ease from the very first appointment with her extremely kind and very professional manner. Her wealth of understanding around trauma and how the brain works is impressive and she has a very intuitive way of working, which made me feel very safe and in really great hands. I have made enormous progress with Patricia towards regaining my health and I would recommend her to anyone who seeks to understand more about how their thoughts and behaviour can affect their health. Her first hand experience of fatigue issues gives her much empathy for her clients and her gentle (but powerful) approach, using a wide range of tools, are helping me to move slowly but surely towards living life to the full!
I have been so lucky to find Patricia on my search for absolute health. She has great knowledge of how physical illness can be affected by previous trauma and has a variety of tools in her toolbox to resolve past trauma without retraumatising you, unlike a lot of the traditional talking therapies. I put my trauma in a box and stuck it under the floorboards for years and Patricia is the only therapist who has given the care and support for me to really be able to approach it head on and begin to resolve it. I was in denial for a long time that any trauma could be a piece of the jigsaw in any physical health condition, and now I know better! It was one of the last pieces I touched and yet probably the most important! Patricia is someone whom you can absolutely place your trust in, especially when that trust has been betrayed by others in the past.
