I must admit when EMDR therapy was first suggested I was a bit sceptical. However after meeting James and being talked through the process, I am so glad I had it. Easy parking, clean and comfortable rooms with a great counsellor. No pressure to book un-needed sessions. Life is so much better after my therapy. Fully recommended.
Very Poor Service. Poorly trained Councillors - making major decisions - after one session! Saying they could not cope. Do your research and find a professional.
For the past nearly 8 months, I have attended regular sessions with Steve at PRC. Steve has really helped me work on coping strategies to enable me to deal with my personal situation the best that I possibly can. Steve is very professional, honest and easy to talk to which makes me feel safe and comfortable at our sessions. I would highly recommend to anyone who may need someone to reach out to. Thank you so much Steve π
Nigel helped us navigate a really difficult tumultuous emotional time together, in a very calm, clear and easy way. Had a very positive impact on my way of thinking about myself and others.
I've been having regular therapy sessions with Marcia for almost 2 years now and it has been the best decision I've ever made. Marcia is personable, non-judgmental and very knowledgable, meaning I always feel that I get so much out of our sessions - they have had a huge, positive impact on my life. Therapy is the best personal investment you could ever make and for anyone considering, I'd highly recommend Marcia.
I've been coming to see Steve for around 5 years now, in that time he's helped me grow as a person and move past a lot of difficult times in my life. He's been a real professional, confidant & rock throughout the years. I even brought in a set of juggling balls once when he said he could juggle to prove it, and fair play to him he can juggle!
I attended regular sessions with Steve at PRC for I think, the best part of 3 years and had I not gone of travelling I would still be seeing him once a month. I attended once a week in the beginning but gradually took it down to 2 weekly, then 3, then monthly. Even though by the end of it I wasnβt struggling like I was in the beginning, those monthly sessions kept me on track, helped me to keep checking in with myself and how I was processing and dealing with things. Steve was really easy to talk to, it was a very comfortable space to talk openly in and I never felt judged, itβs only now I have moments when things happen that I might not have dealt with so well in the past that I realise how much I have grown. Steve definitely helped me learn new ways to work through any challenges that might arise. My sessions helped with so many aspects of my life and i recommend PRC and Steve in particular to anyone needing to talk to someone, I actually put my son on to PRC and will be forever grateful to les for helping him to deal with some issues he was having. The difference in him was huge. Canβt recommend highly enough
IV been attending weekly sessions with Marcia for what's getting close to a year now and have gained a lot from this experience. This was my first time seriously engaging with therapy and would highly recommend this practise and Marcia, especially to anyone struggling or looking to improve themselves
I first started having appointments with Marcia when I was at a very low and unhappy time in my life, Iβve experienced various things in my life and had developed some unhealthy behaviours and lifestyle patterns due to this and I didnβt understand why my thoughts and feelings would be a certain way, seeing her was quite literally one of the best decisions I have ever made. Due to her non judgemental and pragmatic approach Iβm now in an amazing place. Every element and aspect of my life has improved drastically, you have to put the work in yourself but ultimately having the assistance and guidance of a therapist as competent as Marcia has gotten me there, I regularly recommend her to friends and family. Without sounding too clichΓ© it has changed my life, I have gone from not seeing an awful lot of reason or purpose in life to being genuinely excited about my future and everything life has to offer. This isnβt only a review, itβs a thank you. if youβre thinking about therapy I whole heartedly urge you to take the leap and do it, you will not regret it.
Extremely professional team with an honest and comfortable approach that gets results. Reaching out for counselling was a brand new experience for my family and I however, we felt it was needed and took a step into the unknown. Nigel was the person that spent the lions share of the time was us but we knew the Tracey was partly involved and had an important role to play too. We felt we were in safe hands and although it took longer than I thought to achieve what we set out to do, we got there. My personal thanks to these guys for their help to get my family to a point where we are all proud of each other, enjoy each others company and appreciate one another. Highly recommended.
