Paul has helped both my sons to recover from sports injuries, Paul has a wealth of knowledge and helped my children get back to doing what they love within weeks.

I have visited Paul twice now, once for hip pain and recently for knee pain. On both occasions Paul has talked me through everything and has provided me with detailed advice and exercise programmes. The treatment has made a huge difference from just one session - amazing. Paul is friendly and professional and I would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing, with magical hands! My son had an injury for about four weeks, which I believed was nerve pain. My son had one session with Paul, and he was back to football in a matter of days. Very professional, with unbelievable experience and knowledge, and he also gave us videos of exercises to do at homeβ€”so clear and easy to understand. Couldn't recommend highly enough best in the business πŸ‘Œ

I visited Paul due to a painful elbow. I was extremely impressed by the precision with which he located the exact position on my elbow that was the source of the pain. After two 'shockwave' and massage treatments, plus exercises to do at home, the pain has significantly reduced. Highly recommended!

Paul was recommended to me through a mutual friend - to help with a sports injury I had picked up playing football. Upon arrival Paul made me feel at ease alongside his professional set up. My injury was not quite severe but there was potential for it to easily worsen. Throughout the session we made good progress and I left feeling confident that my injury would repair quickly and healthily after the work we had complete, and by continuing the daily exercises given. Paul is very experienced and knowledgable in his field - I would highly recommend to others!

Paul was recommended to me by a friend within the football community. Paul responded quickly and I arranged an appointment for my two daughters who were injured playing football. One had pulled their hamstring and the other had a tear in her upper quad. During the appointment he was quick to identify where and what the injuries are and knew how to treat them straight away. My girls are 11 & 14 years old. Paul has been extremely professional throughout their appointments and explaining things so they can understand as well as me. I came away feeling confident with Paul's advise and treatment for us to do at home. I would highly recommend Paul if your child/teenager has been injured. Thanks Paul!!

Visited Paul this week, being frustrated with a sprained ankle injury, that after 11 weeks, was still inhibiting my day to day activity and stopping me playing golf. An hour with Paul really helped. His thorough assessment of the injury, the information he provided, along with a set of exercises to continue at home, has already made a marked difference, after just 2 days. With Paul’s abundant experience, knowledge and passion to deliver his services, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Maxwell Physio.

Came to Paul regarding a reoccurring hip injury that put me out of football for 5 months. He analysed each detail carefully, in order to reassure me that there was no massive concerns and that it would take a good few physio sessions to recover. Like he said… in a matter of weeks, I am fully recovered and ready to play football again. Definitely recommend him as a physio, he is patient and knows his stuff! Thank you Paul

Paul is by far and away the best physio I have ever seen. With a history of ankle problems, I have seen many physios and chiros, in a few different countries. Some have been loaded with qualifications, many have read all the latest papers and most have given me extensive training programmes to follow closely at home. Paul, however, is different. No doubt due to his remarkable experience in top-level professional sport, he takes an "I'll sort it out" approach instead. (Probably because, in his previous jobs, he was responsible for getting players fit for the following Saturday) He really has changed my life - a year ago, following surgery on my foot and years of pain, I was struggling to walk and things we only getting worse. After a few sessions with Paul and his incredibly precise observations, thoughtful diagnosis and treatment, I was on the mend and now I am able to run pretty much pain free. Paul is well qualified, without doubt knows his stuff, yet he will treat you extensively and then even give you simple, short video clips he's made himself, if you want to continue the rehab at home. There cannot be ANYONE with the experience he has. Quite literally, he must have treated thousands of ankles, knees, hips, backs etc. He's seen it all, over and over again. Trust me - give him a chance, and he'll make you better.

The best physio I've ever seen. I went to see Paul as I was still getting pain in my ankle a year after ligament reconstruction surgery. He hasnt left a stone unturned. My ankle is feeling 10 times better than it ever has. I chose Paul not only because I knew of him from his Argyle days but also because he has also worked at other top clubs. I just wish I knew he was down here again when I first injured my ankle. Absolute gentleman and 110% knows his stuff. I would recommend him to anyone
