Amazing training and injury advice. The Hyperice compression leggings are a game changer for recovery.
100% recommend Commando health and fitness for anyone looking for a personal trainer in Plymouth. Andrew is professional, knowledgeable and very friendly and has really helped me over the last few months with staying consistent with training and making progress. Pt sessions are relaxed but encouraging and have really inspired me to work harder and focus on my overall fitness. :-)
Andrew is always personable, professional, supportive and gives an excellent treatment. I believe you will not find better treatment, training or value for money. With holistic experience and a 'you can' attitude he has in inclusive, motivational attitude which will keep all doing, whatever the interest. Whilst he has a keen eye on health and fitness he also ensures that the wellbeing of all is catered for, in a community which fosters supportive and valued friendships. He is inspirational with a person centred disposition, you won't do better!
Been going to Andrew for 3 ish years! After the first session, he recommended going to see my GP as my back was in agony, who then diagnosed my scoliosis. Given the OK to have deep tissue massage, Andrew has kept me pain-free over the years which has enabled me to keep doing the things I love. Thank you for everything Andrew!
Andrew is a quality PT who really helped me work toward my goals and developed a really good workout plan. Over the summer I worked with Andrew online and he is one of the best PTs I have ever had. He is super knowledgeable and and created a workout plan with variation that kept me motivated and was always able to answer my questions! I cannot recommend him highly enough!
Andrew has been fantastic with my rehabilitation from what we believe to be iliotibial band syndrome. He has supported me through the lockdown period remotely and was always on hand for advice and encouragement. He helped me work out my issues, came up with some routines for stretching and provided exercises to help strengthen areas of weakness in my legs. I thoroughly recommend his services for anyone worried about sports/exercise injuries and will no doubt continue to count on his services in the future.
Andrew is a very knowledgable, professional and friendly physio. Arranged a great diagnosis session and rehab plan for a runners knee injury I’ve been carrying for a few months that another physio had missed. He also still managed to organise this (virtually, don’t worry!) while we were in lockdown. I could not recommend him more highly, especially for anyone who does a lot of running!
Andrew provided a fantastic service, carefully assessing the nature of my running injury and how it had come about, before working out a treatment plan and fitting sessions with him in around my work. Very knowledgeable about different sports and the injuries that come from them. Helped me stay positive during an otherwise frustrating time. Very highly recommended, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
100% recommend Commando health and fitness for great sporting related needs. I’ve been seeing Andrew for over a year now for sports massages for both recovery and injury supported. The Tuesday morning training sessions are great and I was put through my paces. And along with my Husband, we are being supported with killer training plans to worked toward our next running goals. My husband has massively improved his performance since working with Andrew and I’m keen to do the same. Injury prevention, recovery and performance needs are all covered including other great tips and advice along the way. What else could you need?!
Thoroughly recommend Andrew. Had a deep tissue massage yesterday to seek relief from a long standing back and shoulder injury. Despite some soreness (which was expected) I am definitely looser and looking forward to my next session. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction with a clear and concise description as to how the muscle groups worked and their interaction with the rest of the body. I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew who is polite and courteous as well as being very skilled specifically at deep tissue massage having had a fair number in the past. Great job!
