I could not recommend Colin Brazier more as an EMDR therapist. I have recently finished 2 weeks of working with him. From the moment we started working together i felt in such safe, knowledgeable, wise, professional hands. I already feel huge benefits from the EMDR therapy. I feel extremely grateful that I have at last filed away trauma that has been with me for over 40 years.

It’s hard to put it all into words but working with Colin has changed my life in a really positive way. I was stuck in fight or flight and was struggling to move through it. While the treatment it’s self is difficult and challenging (due to the nature of what I needed to worth through) his warm empathetic approach and expertise in EMDR really helped me navigate a difficult time. I felt accommodated, supported and understood every step of the way, and felt safe to work through things. Over a year on and I still feel the positive effects of our sessions and use the self regulation techniques he taught me. I would highly recommend working with Colin of The Mindwork Network and found the intensive sessions incredibly beneficial. Thank you Colin.

My experience with Colin from The Mindwork Network was distressing. I had waited a long time to be able to see him for therapy and had believed in the treatment I was to receive, and in him. However, he was not knowledgeable about my own difficulties when he should have been, as a professional in this field, he misled me as to what was to be involved in the therapy and showed no competency and professionalism in my situation. This resulted in harm to myself, to which he did not wish to engage with. Most compassionate therapists would be mortified to cause any kind of harm to a client. I am unable to recommend him at all. In response to the owners comments; 1. The owner and I consulted online once (assessment) and I did meet him and thought the therapy was meant to be intensive EMDR but it turned out to be superficial. I was misled into thinking it was more. 2. For the owner to have refunded me obviously means he took money originally from me 3. I didn’t ask to work in a ‘particular way’ but the way that was advertised on his website and the way that intensive EMDR actually does work. No one dives straight into trauma work but intensive EMDR does not just mean working with relaxation strategies and positivity, which was all the owner offered 4. I am capable of finding alternatives and have done, who actually do offer intensive EMDR 5. My emails simply explained my disappointment and upset. Insulting they were not, expressive they were Finally, the fact that the owner feels the need to assert himself as competent and well respected, etc seems to suggest that others may have remained silent and that he wishes my review didn’t exist. But reviews have always helped me and that is why I wanted to convey mine to help others. The owner was lacking in knowledge concerning anxiety disorders and agoraphobia. That is important. That puts my record even straighter.
