I would totally recommend Turning Tides Psychology. The whole process was well explained, efficient and I felt very supported throughout. I felt listened to and even though my diagnosis of ADD wasn't a shock to me, the assessment report was very thorough and made so much sense to why I have struggled for many years. I was given a very detailed list of different ways I can try to support my difficulties around focus and concentration. I would have no hesitation recommending .
I recently got diagnosed with ADHD by two lovely ladies here, they made me feel exceptionally comfortable and listened to. The process was detailed, effective and efficient. I felt very heard and supported by them throughout this process as sometimes talking about yourself in this light can be difficult at times. I would 100% recommend turning tides to anybody who feels as though they may suffer from ADHD as this is the best things Iβve done for myself in a long time. My assessment report came back hugely detailed and i learnt new things about myself it also comes with coping strategies for university and work along with links for medication and a private psychiatrist. Again would hugely recommend! Thank you.
I seen Alicia for 20 sessions and she was amazing! Originally went for PTSD for death of a parent, she has helped me so much and is a genuine lovely person! I have came out after 20 sessions feeling so much better. Highly recommend her!
I would highly recommend Alicia & Gayle who completed an ADHD assessment for my son. They put us at ease during the process, were professional whilst being empathetic and supportive. Their communication is excellent, guiding us through the process step by step and clearly explaining timescales. Their fees are competitive and transparent.
Definitely recommend, I was nervous and unsure about going but they both put me at ease. They're very friendly, non-judgemental and easy to talk to. The process is very transparent so I knew what to expect at every stage. They got my results to me quickly too, with recommendations for where to gain more support. 5 stars π
Gayle is just the loveliest person if you are struggling with anything or have something to work on therapy-wise. She is so empathetic, kind and understanding. I always felt I could share openly with her and fully trusted her advice. I wouldnβt hesitate to recommend her! Also, a side note, but the service is all run consistently and professionally in terms of admin, payments and nice text and email reminders. The office is lovely as well but Zoom is an option too. Go for it - you wonβt look back! :)
I have nothing but positive feedback for Turning Tides. I first contacted them around April 2024 after struggling with health anxiety profusely for the last couple of years. Gayle was great, right from the first consultation phone call up until our last session, she made me feel at ease and was incredibly easy to talk to. Within a short 4/5 sessions Gayle helped me tremendously with understanding the roots and causes of my anxiety whilst helping me with methods and techniques that I can use going forward to cope with my panics and overall anxiety. I have finished our sessions feeling much more positive and it has helped my overall mental health incredibly. Thank you Gayle for your time, patience and compassion throughout our sessions I am very grateful to have found turning tides.
Turning Tides has provided an incredible therapy service. I cannot recommend enough how much this has helped me in my time of crisis and pain after each session the enriching and help provided has left me feeling stronger and more capable to overcome challenges in the future.
Difficult to sum up after a year of attendance, but definitely worth a heartfelt review. I reached out reluctantly at some point last spring. I'd been angry and pent up about a lot of things for months, even years prior to this. It was starting to affect my life in a detrimental way. I finally swallowed my pride and admitted I might need some help. The first few sessions are the hardest. The staff (Alicia in my case) worked at a pace that suited me. She was incredibly professional, compassionate and patient. My problems were never too big or small. Over time I started to feel more empowered, positive and confident in myself. Honestly, it's one of the best decisions I've made in my life, and I hope this helps others who might be hesitant.
I don't usually leave reviews but I was really impressed with turning tides and wanted to recommend them to others in my situation. I contacted them through the website after deciding I needed some support and I was able to book my first appointment that same week. Gail was very calming and easy to talk to which really put me at ease. She helped me understand why I had been reacting the way I had and she helped me to develop new ways of doing things so I could move forwards. My mental health is in a much better place now and I'm very grateful!
