Tried this treatment last year, their techniques did not help, it’s not worth the money you pay as most of what they offer is available for free online. Their reports seem to be auto generated and don’t offer much insight. Also their messaging support just seems to be copy and paste answers. It’s not something I would recommend, you’re better off with something that’s actually more personalised to help you.

When i started this program i averaged 3 hours broken sleep a night. Now i have finished i am sleeping approx 7 hours a night. I never would have thought this possible. Its not easy but well worth the effort.

I suffered from chronic insomnia for about 20 years and tried numerous treatments which helped a bit, but didn’t stop it completely. However since completing the 6 week course with sleep station my insomnia seems to have disappeared. What particularly helped me was completely a period of initial sleep restriction, then going to bed when your sleepy and setting a sensible waking time. Daily meditation and exercise also has helped calm those very irritating negative thoughts.

A few reviews have said it’s a scam, and I would have to agree it is. If you’ve done any kind of researching into your insomnia (which most people have at the point your looking into sleep station) you’ll already be familiar with all the ‘tips’ they offer. They say it’s tailored to you, but it’s not as they only practice sleep restriction, nothing else is explored to help your insomnia or get to the cause of it. Their website makes claims about what they will do for you which are just not true. It’s not worth the money you pay at all. A lot of the ‘support’ is either AI or pre set advice. I’m really disappointed and I’m going to complain to the NHS as they should not be recommending this, I’m genuinely concerned this is the only program NHS recommend.

I have suffered from insomnia for more than 20 years. My GP referred me to Sleepstation. It was hard going at first but with perseverance, I can say it has work wonders to my sleep pattern. The support and resources available to help me understand sleep has been helpful.

I have been with sleepstation for around a month, I’ve followed all the videos and tips, what I have definitely not followed is their advice telling me to stay up until 1am and get up at 6am, I am so glad I haven’t paid for this, they have been no help whatsoever, I think most of it is AI, please do not pay for it and waste your money

I have had trouble sleeping for most of my adult life. I was advised by the Doctor to try Sleep Station. I did not qualify for it through the NHS, but was able to get the rediuced fee. I completed the Assesment, and at the end of the that was then told that they could not help me. I am not rich and they have taken £160 pounds for what a series of questions. To say I am angry and upset is the understatment. Please by weary of this company.

My GP referred me to Sleepstation. I have suffered from insomnia for over 20 years. I can honestly say the programme they put me on really helped my insomnia. The programme was tough at first but if you persevere it is well worth doing. I was delighted that me sleep is so much better. It restored sleepy feelings to me which was something I had lost and needed to enable me to fall asleep. 5 stars for me.

I think the Sleepstation approach is great for some, but may not for others. I fully understand the approach that they take to try to prevent associating the bedroom with wakefulness, but it wasn't quite right for me. I am thankful whilst I was using the service that another sleep coach advised that you can be awake in bed and it not be a stressful experience, and that helped me more than getting out of bed, which caused me more stress. The access to sleep experts is great, but in my case didn't really offer anything new, considering I've tried CBT-I / ACT before. If you haven't tried that approach before, Sleepstation takes you through that approach step-by-step, and I think that is really valuable. Doctor's advice is just to do CBT-I, but I wasn't given any resources to do it so muddled through it myself in an un-structured way. Eventually I found I was able to access Sleepstation through my employer. So if you can get access to Sleepstation through your GP/employer and haven't done a STRUCTURED CBT-I approach before, I would recommend it. It does need to be structured. I think the sleep diaries are really useful, so you can see what your sleep actually looks like. My feedback to Sleepstation would be that I didn't really like the format of the videos, and would have preferred a text option to read. Secondly, I was expecting more dialogue/feedback from sleep experts with insights into my sleep patterns. You can always contact them, but how I felt about getting out of bed when I couldn't sleep wasn't discussed, and for me that was key. I will say that I feel on track with my sleep now. Sleepstation is a valuable resource, but I would have been a bit miffed if I'd paid for it.

DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR NHS DOC IF THEY RECOMMEND THIS EXPENSIVE SCAM. Honestly my Doc recommended this and it has been such a colossal disappointment. The videos on tips might be necessary for some but for any half educated person they are so beyond basic. I know about clocks in the bedroom, setting a sleep routine and trying to get up at the same time. But when you wake up at 4am and can't get back to sleep until 7 am. That's super unhelpful. If you literally cannot google a good sleep environment and tips then maybe this is for you. But if you can, avoid it.
