Absolutely pointless exercise. Think the person that we had the pleasure of dealing with either couldn't hear a word we told her or just couldn't be bothered to hear what we had to say or was to hung up on the idea of proving us wrong. Has anyone from camhs heard of selective mutism ? Obviously not.
They said theyβd help my partner out but all theyβve ever done was made him worse and tell him that theyβd help but didnβt help and they were saying to him if he ever steps foot in lri heβd go to a psycho ward even though heβs not a psychopath he has got mental issues and got adhd
biggest waste of time ever , the people were nice but they didnβt help me at all. They knew this wasnβt working for me so all they did was referred me to a different mental health team and discharged me. i had no intention on staying alive and they just left me , i didnβt get any further help of the team they referred me to since the waitlist is so long idk what im gonna do but thanks for nothing
Sheila the manager of City CAMHS is a wonderful person and very effective in helping her team to feel supported and cared for. In this time of service cut backs we all hope there will be nationwide recognition that children's mental health needs increased financial investment. I look forward to an end to the cut backs. Our children are our future. and we urgently need to address
