They have really supported me through the most challenging times of my life (ongoing). They have been extremely patient and understanding and i can't fault them. A special thank you to all the staff and a special thank you to Dr Mohammed and Mariah

i finally was changed psychiatrist and we were going well, my med plan was all in place now she’s gone and i’ve not seen dr rao in a year and he wasn’t even aware i was still on diaz&zop(3years) til i mentioned it and he checked my record THEN and now on seroquel after i broke down and could not cope with my moods and i was clinging on to my mother pleading for the constant heavy panic attacks to cease but they did not so i was put on the seroquel(dr thomas<3) to help stable my mood swings and panics and to help me get off off the benzos. we had a whole plan to increase the quetiapine but then dr rao was shocked to see that i’m also on pregabs and seroquel, which many people are, and was going to take me off till i practically begged him to let me stay on them and he agreed but no increase and i’m only on 25mg anyway. i see myself improving then all this happens, they don’t communicate, when my meds were changed the drs didn’t even know till a few weeks after. i had no heads up about having to see dr rao again and this all sucks. too many people with problems and not enough people to help. it’s funny how the drs don’t seem to even relate to you yet they judge you off a one hour time slot every 6 months. i hope dr thomas or someone who actually understands and has been through a lot of the issues we now have to solve comes back and/or are female because i’m sick of male drs who do not understand, im sick of most of any test subjects to understand the psyche of mental health are predominantly MALE and that’s what they jude off. the papers, rarely the experience.

If I could rate zero stars I would and that is being generous, if you have a choice avoid this place at all costs, totally incompetent, lazy, uncaring, unprofessional, you will end up feeling worse....the lack of respect for the patients is truly astounding....staff turnaround here is ludicrously high and should tell you plenty about how this place is run.....this really shows in the lack of care and attitude staff give to patients. DO **NOT** PUT YOUR TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR HEALTH!....FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The amount of 1 star reviews for this is disturbing, and sadly, absolutely deserved. This place and the whole system they run needs to be seriously scrutinised because it is going to have huge implications for the wellbeing and possibly lives of others. If you get referred here, honestly don't even bother going through with it, you'll likely be worse off. I had an assessment here last year which wasted 2.5 hours of my life, where I was then told they had nothing to offer me, and then they also said they would refer me to Francis Dixon Lodge, which never happened, so almost a year has passed I could have been on the waiting list, and now I'm back to square one. Basically a GP will refer you to here or Central access point. Unless you are extremely suicidal or threatening harm, and say so in your answers, your case will likely be closed and you'll be told to go back to your GP (Who will then tell you to go back to central access point, or community mental health) This place is honestly terrible. Maybe some people get lucky and have a good experience, or they just have mild anxiety or new to the mental health system, and they are easier to treat, so they get help rightaway. If you ever need to pay attention to the negative reviews for something once in your life, this is the time. Avoid at all costs.

The people who leave bad reviews of this place are not kidding, I've not had 1 good experience since being here, both my referrals went missing and they told me it was an oversight, how can 2 missing referrals be an oversight? The psychiatrists don't listen to you when you have genuine concerns, they just want to get you out the door and when you ask for help for anything it's clear they haven't listened because they don't provide the correct thing you've asked for. The worst place I've ever been to for help with my mental health, if anything it's made my mental health worse. This place seriously needs looking at.

The lack of empathy, professionalism and mental health support is disgusting. Phone lines are always engaged, the medical receptionists are so unhelpful and rude. Appointments are cancelled last minute and then rescheduled for A YEAR later?! My sibling hasn't had a face to face appointment since 2018, all conveniently down to covid- which is still being blamed for lack of appointments! Constantly being told 'there's a backlog' but no other urgent slots available. At my wits end and desperate. What do you say to a loved one in such mental distress when the professionals aren't bothered to help?

My daughter has been struggling with mental health for over 6 months in crisis but longer generally. The care she has experienced especially at this centre is not acceptable and there should be an informal investigation into the practice. There is no appropriate follow up or onward care and my daughter was asked what she would like them to prescribe ?!! She is mentally unwell she had hope these supposed professionals would help her but sadly they merely caused her to attempt to take her own life. She feels she is begging for help and no one is listening and to be honest she is right. In this day where mental health is so greatly advertised why is St Peter's not listening. You have got it wrong. Maybe you should allow the families to meet with you and tell you why when their loved ones are unable. Maybe you should care. You do not deserve a one star

Never experienced such poor patient care. It's now been 1 year and a month since my urgent 5 day referral. I've had 2 appointments cancelled on me. 1 the day before and the other an hour before. Was told it would be revoked as a matter of urgency. Letter came through for a mid September appointment. 1 year 3 months from when I was referred. Wouldn't even give one star but less isn't an option. Formal complaint has been submitted.

Had my first appointment and was pleasantly surprised after reading poor reviews . The Dr i saw was very pleasant and had a caring manner. Not sure why it matters about ethnicity of staff?? ( re other unhelpful review ) but then again I’m not partial to racism in any way . Only issue for me was lack of parking .

The parking here is diabolical.I have caught the Doctors and nurses park in disabled bays whilst not having blue badges All the receptionists are of Asian extraction some cannot comprehended English. There are so many English mental Health professionals who have left or gone awol. The whole of the system is falling apart. Every single receptionist is of Indian extraction, or partime American. Why are so few English white people employed here. Totally useless service. The Indian consultants simply dont understand the issues and do not get the gist of users. The receptionists are so rude. The phone is always busy. So much for the govt making Mental Health a priority. It seems they will talk the talk and give the public what they want to hear at the detriment of the end user. Awful service awful attitude and one of the reason that makes you think I wish I had gone private! They wonder why so many mentally challenged people are a problem. well put the investment in, and with a health professional they can relate to not some 3rd world country staff.
