This was my first experience of bike fitting and wow, I couldn't believe the detail and precision that Jake took. He clearly has a fantastic knowledge of the body as well as how tweaks on the bike can make things more comfortable and more efficient. Absolutely brilliant.

I had a bike fit with Jake in July 2025, everything about the service was excellent. Jake’s background in physiotherapy meant the session didn’t only take into account the bike but my mobility. This included suggesting exercises to aid comfort on the bike. Since the fit, Jake has continued to provide advice in which he has gone above and beyond. Thoroughly recommended a bike fit from Jake. Whenever anyone mentions cycling I suggest getting a bike fit, and I always recommend Jake.

Jake's bike fit was very reassuring as we covered my physical limitations and factored that into the fit. We discussed lots of things about the fit and Jake gave rationale for changes he was making which I really appreciated. Over the course of 2 sessions (full fit plus a follow-up) we were able to get a super comfortable position within my narrow fit window. Will definitely see Jake again for future fits!

Jake undertook a very complex bike fit for myself. The process took around three hours. As Jake is a qualified physiotherapy and keen cyclist, his passion and focus was super. Jake has got me riding my bike in a position I never thought I would have been in. Can highly recommend if you have a disability or hip or knee issue. Thank you very much. This is a life changing process you have done for me.

A really good service. I was experiencing discomfort on the bike at around the 2 hour mark. Now following the adjustments made by Jake I have now completed multiple 4+ hour rides with no discomfort. Would highly recommend his service.

I had been struggling with knee, hip and neck pain when doing long rides in preparation for a 300km ride. I chose to see Jake because of his background as a physio. Jake took a detailed history of my musculoskeletal problems and examined me. He then tried to address each issue during my bike fit, and gave me some pointers on what to work on. As a medical professional myself, I was very impressed with his assessment and approach. We made several adjustments during the fit, I have now done a few 100km+ rides completely pain free. I would recommend Jake to anyone looking for a bike fit, particularly if you have specific Msk issues you wish to address.

Would highly recommend Jake for a bike fit. I came in looking to get a new bike fitted to me as best as possible, and also address a recurrent issue with my knee. We quickly identified that I have an asymmetry in my feet and we adjusted my cleats to get almost instant results. We also got the height and angle of the saddle dialed in, and identified where I had tightness and weakness in various muscles and tendons, for which Jake gave me a set of exercises to stretch with. Overall the session was about 2 hours, and I felt relaxed and in the hands of a knowledgeable professional from the start. We've also continued to have follow up conversations afterwards which have been extremely valuable. Overall I would highly recommend Jake. The bike fit cost me about £150 and was extremely helpful and insightful. Thanks Jake!

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the fantastic bike fit that Physio Fit Bristol provided. The adjustments Jake made to my saddle and riding position have made a world of difference. I can now cycle for hours without experiencing any pain, which is truly remarkable. Jake's expertise and attention to detail have significantly improved my cycling experience.

I went to see Jake as a previous ACL injury to my knee has become increasingly painful just cycling to work. He was very thorough in assessing the issue, and measured the amount of difference in rage of movement between my good knee and the injured one. This allowed him to make the correct adjustment to the saddle height, make other recommendations to adjust the bike, and also which exercises to do, to strengthen muscles around the knee. Even after a week back on the bike I've noticed an improvement in the pain level. Jake is a good physio who is passionate about cycling and knows his stuff, highly recommended!

After suffering knee pain from a few longer rides on a new bike, I went to see Jake for a bike fit session. He took the time to do a thorough physio assessment first and then got me set up on the bike. Jake was thoroughly helpful adjusting my bike and cleats, and also made recommendations about cadence and post ride management. I managed 100 miles a few days later pain-free both during and after the ride. If you are a runner or cyclist and you're considering a bike fit session or physo, I'd highly recommend Jake for a holistic assessment and treatment plan.
