I had weekly sessions with Tom over a few months and in that time made great improvements. Talking through my issues and going through practical CBT exercises was very helpful and made me much happier and healthier day to day.
Tom has been extremely helpful and is an excellent listener. He clearly has a wide range of skills and a great knowledge. He has helped me develop thought patterns which are meaningful and useful. Would definitely reccommend!!
Tom was really easy to open up to and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. He listened carefully and without judgment, which made it clear he truly understood my perspective. He has a way of explaining things clearly and thoughtfully, making even complicated ideas easier to follow. He also shared practical tools and insights that have helped me in my day-to-day life. Throughout our time together, I always felt genuinely heard, supported, and respected. I highly recommend working with him.
Tom has been so helpful in helping me to break down challenging thought patterns and ensures his sessions are enjoyable, practical and tailored to you. I was sceptical about applying CBT techniques before working with Tom is great at weaving them in in a way that feels completely natural and easy to take forward beyond the sessions. Highly recommended!
Ive found the sessions I have with Tom to be invaluable. I contacted him when I was in a pretty bad place and he’s guided me along a path to much better mental health, complete with skills that I’ll use for life. Tom’s mix of traditional CBT with other techniques such as values-led work - and some good, old fashioned talking - has worked so well for me. If you’re thinking of getting in touch, then don’t hesitate. He’s supportive, non-judgemental and helps break down what might be quite daunting in to manageable chunks. Thank you, Tom!
Tom supported me through a short but very difficult period in my life. He listened to me and asked me questions that I couldn't really answer because I hadn't allowed myself to ask those questions. Once my time with Tom was done, I still tussled with the questions and when I finally plucked up the courage to answer them, it resulted in me changing my job, my career and starting a new life in a different country. The things I left behind are in tatters. Not because I left them, but because they were broken to start with. Tom asked me whether it was my job to fix them. It took me a while to realise it, but it wasn't. My time with Tom contributed to me making some major (much needed) changes in my life, more than he could have realised. Thanks, Tom. You are a good man.
Tom helped me through a challenging period with great skill during our few CBT sessions. He put me at ease and was very motivating. He gave me the techniques I needed and explained clearly how to incorporate them into my daily routine. I would highly recommend him.
I met with Tom over a period of many months and shared all sorts of issues with him. Tom firstly is a very kind, funny and considerate person but also very skilled in what he does. He allowed me space to talk whilst also challenging me on my though patterns. To be honest an hour was never enough as we could have chatted for days. If you are looking for a CBT expert then Tom is your guy. thank you Tom
I found the sessions with Tom were friendly and helpful. I did not feel under any pressure and so we were able to cover a whole range of subjects that were causing me concern. My accident had led to a heightened level of anxiety which I began to understand through our sessions. I was able to treat my concerns with a more appropriate level of importance. As a result I am now able to handle them more effectively. I am continuing to study the workbook which I find really helpful. I would recommend Tom to anyone in my position, as I am slowly returning to a less anxious state of mind to the relief of my close family.
Tom helped me through a difficult time with great skill and sensitivity. He put me at ease from the start and was unfailing in his encouragement and motivation. He presented me with all the necessary tools at a manageable pace and communicated clearly how to incorporate them into my daily life. I have seen a few therapists and Tom has been by far the most helpful in overcoming my issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and will be doing so.
