Had the pleasure of accessing this service by Meera over a course of a set amount of weeks a short while back. Whilst being my first experience into any type of therapy and CBT I was made to feel comfortable and supported throughout the whole experience. Each Silence and prompt was undertaken with such precise caution to encourage me to create solutions yet the perfect timing of support and suggestions when things felt really cloudy and stuck. Never once was I made to feel that my struggles was too big or too small to access support but the understanding that every circumstance is individual and that everyone deserves to access help and support. Overall Meera sets the bar very high with her kindness, professionalism, experience and knowledge and made my experience a positive one to which I am extremely grateful. Anyone would be very lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with Brighter Minds and Meera, she is such a credit to the profession and I hope that we get the opportunity to work with eachother again in the future - Thank you so much!

Really supportive and safe environment. I had never attended any formal counselling beforehand and was aware of CBT but had never used it before. Meera was really supportive, understanding and very empathetic and easy to talk to. The CBT work was direct and to the point in the best way and was a really great tool that was explained simply and succinctly. Would really recommend Brighter Minds!

I'm so grateful I started my healing journey with Meera! Her support, guidance and kindness have helped me throughout my sessions. I was initially a bit skeptical about CBT, but I found it was actually what I needed! When I first started, I had very high levels of anxiety, and the only way I knew how to cope with it was through eating big amounts of food. Meera provided me with healthier copying tools. In a matter of 2-3 weeks, I had already been able to manage my anxiety and after a couple of months I didn't consider it a problem anymore. My anxiety is not completely gone (of course) but I now know how to manage it and not make it overwhelm me. Can't recommend Brighter Minds and Meera enough!

I worked with Meera and Brighter Minds for about 9 months, and it has made a significant difference to my day-to-day mental health. Initially, having never had CBT sessions before, I was unsure about how I'd take to it. However, I was completely won over by the effectiveness of the approach and the guidance/support I received from Meera. I would recommend using Brighter Minds to anyone looking for mental health support and CBT in general.

Meera is great. Although I was a little resistant to therapy at first, her patience and insight into mindful practice, grounding techniques and CBT have given me a small arsenal of tools to deal with life! Thanks Meera.

Brighter Minds has really helped me navigate a really tricky time in my life. The CBT work has given me the tools and helped me find my own to change my perspectives and give me something to lean on when life throws curveballs my way. If you’re thinking of enquiring have an initial chat with them and take it from there.

I recently participated in CBT therapy with Brighter Minds and the service provided was fantastic. Appointments are well organised, I felt comfortable during our sessions and found the strategies and information shared very useful. I would highly recommend Brighter Minds to anyone.

I found my experience with Brighter Minds more helpful than I could have ever anticipated. Although I began my therapy with a particular set of concerns/issues in mind, working with Meera led me approach them in a different and more constructive way. Working on these revised goals has improved my wellbeing beyond just overcoming the crisis I was experiencing. I expected CBT to be solely tools-based; I found the tools very helpful (and will continue to use them), however I feel the strongest impact was from Meera's insightfulness and how she asked questions that caused me to reframe my outlook. It's noteworthy how well Meera held our sessions online, I expected the therapy to be a bit let down by not being face-to-face, but honestly this wasn't the case at all and it was like being in the room together. It was very natural developing a rapport with Meera and I imagine that anyone having therapy with her would feel the same way. I could say a lot more about how I found my experience with Brighter Minds, suffice to say it is all positive and I can't recommend Meera strongly enough.
