I visited Martin’s practice a few months ago and was amazed by the high level of care and communication. Martin's attention to detail describing the body, your own issue and comparing it to your own daily life makes it easy to understand. Martin shares knowledge with clients, rather than just the solution. Martin shows passion in his role and has increased my awareness of how the body works. I highly recommend Berkeley Health Centre to anyone.

Had an issue with parking which was mainly my fault but also out of my control. I went in to speak with Martin to apologise for the inconvenience and just overall explain myself. Martin didn’t even hear what I had to say, he just to shouted, pointed and swore in my face infront of clients. He repeatedly told me to leave and shut the door in my face. I left the business visibly upset and Martin then proceeded to follow me out onto the street and continued to shout more abuse at me in the middle of Berkeley Square. For context, I’m a 22 year old girl who was locked out of a friends apartment overnight, which had all of my belongings in including my keys, phone and clothes therefore I physically could not move my car before the business opened which was my intention. I went over to apologise for this in my pyjamas as it was all I had and that is still how Martin handled the situation.

We visited Martin with our young daughter as we were worried she may need helmet treatment for plagiocephaly and wanted some advice. Martin was incredibly knowledgeable and caring. Our daughter was measured and didn't actually need treatment after all. We were reassured she will improve naturally over time and given lots of information and what we can do to help her. No sales pitch just care and knowledge shared, thank you.

Our son had plagiocephaly treatment at 6 months old, by 9 months it was treated and barely visible. Martin fitted him with a TiMband helmet which was 3D printed to his head size and shape and through continual use the helmet reshaped his head. Chosing to pursue the use of a orthotic helment was a difficult decision bearing in mind the NHS does offer them nor does it promote the use of them. Our son also had torticollis which led to the flattening of his head, despite physio this was not improving his head shape. We decided to try a helmet and it was the best decision we could have made. After the first week, our son's head was visibly returning to a normal shape and continued to improve over the 3 month period. If you can afford to get a helmet for your child I would not hesitate in recommending Martin Bell and the TiMband product. Thanks Martin!

I started seeing Owen Lynch with debilitating neck and shoulder pain I had developed following a couple of bike crashes during the last few months. The pain stopped me from doing any of my training required as a competitive mountain bike racer and I have suffered from it over months on and off. With Owen's hollistic approach and different types of treatment he could achieve major improvements over only 5 weeks. The muscles affected are regaining normal function and I'm back riding my bike! Owen's treatment has been brilliant and several exercises he advised have helped me to manage the pain.

I attended an one hour consultation where my posture and gait were examined by Martin Bell. I felt the service provided was constructive, informative and explained in a simple manner, which I could implement into my daily routine. I was also shown various exercises to help improve my gait. I would recommend Martin and the clinic to anyone in need of these types of services. Overall, a lovely clinic with warm and welcoming staff.

We have been seeing Martin Bell for a few months for plagiocephaly treatment for our 10 month old which is now complete. Everything about the berkeley Centre is fabulous. A calm environment, always a warm welcome and Martin has been brilliant from start to finish. He explains everything thoroughly, he initially made sure we were well informed with no pressure to proceed with treatment and he has looked after us wonderfully throughout treatment. We are over the moon with the results and will be forever grateful!

The first thing I noticed when I walked into the reception area was the ambience - tranquil, relaxing, safe, tastefully decorated, well maintained and spotlessly clean. Coffee’s pretty good too! I was there to see Martin in Footworks. I’ve seen a few orthotists in my time, but never one so skilled, so professional and yet so compassionate. My issues don’t fit neatly into a box, but that’s was okay, because Martin thinks outside of one. If you have problems which you believe to be unsolvable, please give Berkeley Centre Health a try.

I had an appointment with Martin Bell, who owns and runs Berkeley Centre Health, through which he also sees patients of his orthotics practice FootWorks. Reception is welcoming, and the atmosphere relaxing. Martin is also very quick to put you at ease. His manner is friendly, his approach to the work he does steeped in his acute (and very funny) observational humour, which is shared rather than imposed, and therefore not at all disconcerting. Noticing how people move, in particular when they are walking, is a key measure of Martin's skill, and there is no doubt he is exceptional at what he does. Knowing you are experiencing lower back pain just by watching you get up out of a chair and walk is slightly unnerving, but then reassuring as you realise he also knows how to help you relieve that pain. What is also impressive about Martin is that he does not prescribe his own services if he believes you would be better served using a specialist of a different nature. This means that, if you are suffering any kind of skeletal or muscular pain - neck, back, hips, knees, ankles - then it is well worth seeing Martin first. He will observe, evaluate, diagnose and then direct you to the most appropriate solution. Highly recommended.

I have worked with several specialists at the Berkeley Centre, a couple of physiotherapists and Martin Bell a pioneering and leading Clinical Orthotist; I have had a fantastic experience will all the specialists at the facility, they are welcoming, accommodating and at the top of their respective clinical fields, the treatment rooms & facilities are superb, clean, modern with free tea & coffee. There is on street parking available outside. I can't recommend Martin and the team at The Berkeley Centre highly enough.
