Theresa is a magician. As an athlete and skin therapist, my massage needs are a blend of therapeutic and deep tissue. In times I've been through a physical therapy program, she's helped me get my range of motion back and connect with tight spots or weak areas. She customizes the approach you need for your body and her depth of knowledge on physiology is incredible. Her therapy involves hearing your input or concerns, connecting with your energy and tight spots, and creating a truly uplifting and relaxing massage. Your entire nervous system gets a treat when you book with her. You're guaranteed an intentional massage blended with amazing knowledge of the body and movement here. So happy to call her my Certified Massage Therapist!!
Theresa was ABSOLUTELY amazing. I’ve been getting massage for more than fifteen years and used to practice myself, and hands down this was the best massage I have ever had. She addressed the issues I presented to her and found other things I didn’t even realize I needed work on. HIGHLY recommend- I will 100% be going back.
Ploy and Theresa are both exceptional massage therapists—without a doubt, the best I’ve ever encountered in the entire Bay Area. It’s hard to say who’s better because they’re both outstanding in their own ways, each bringing a unique style that sets them apart from other therapists. I’ve been coming here regularly for one year, and scheduling appointments is always easy. Their work is incredibly effective in relieving neck and shoulder tension from work, along with many other body aches. I’m definitely sticking with this place!
Have had many massages over the years to try to address chronic neck tension and many places would barely spend any time working on the area. Theresa spent the majority of our session working on the area and was very passionate about getting those muscles to relax. The space was was also very comfortable, relaxing and had good healing energy. Nothing but great things to say about TRx, will definitely be coming back!
Ploy & Theresa are amazing multi disciplined massage therapists. Their studio is cosy, inviting and very clean. Their services include massage for varied times with products made with body & herbal homeopathic knowledge. They include their faceted education into their practice. They've educated me regarding my problems explaining body mechanics that have caused it. They have massaged according to what my body needed treating. The intellectual synergetic caring approach to massage therapy makes them the best in San Francisco.
I just had a 60-min massage session at TRx! Booking an appointment for the same day was super easy – their online system is really user-friendly. I wish I remembered the name of my massage therapist because she was incredible. Her deep understanding of how the body works really shows. She also shared some really insightful tips about how to improve mobility and how to understand my muscles and joints better. Also the massage room is pretty massive for SF and is thoughtfully decorated :) I work from home and am active, so my back, neck, and legs are often pretty tight. The therapist focused right on these areas with some amazing deep tissue work. I also really liked that she used hot stones and essential oils. I walked out feeling like a new person, totally refreshed and relaxed. It was way more than I had hoped for. Huge thanks to my massage therapist at TRX Massage. She really knows her stuff, and the attention to detail is impressive. If you're looking for a genuinely effective massage, this is the place to go. I can't wait for my next visit!
Theresa and Ploy are the best! My husband and I have been coming here for about a year now and love it. We have both tried other massage places and nothing compares to TRx Massage. Theresa and Ploy are both very attentive to which areas we want to focus on and are amazing at working out the muscles. Highly recommend if you're looking for a massage therapist! :)
Pure therapeutic healing. I am so grateful!! Theresa was kind enough to return my call, though I was unsuccessful in connecting with someone yesterday. TRx is the best kept secret in SOMA, for certain. I have never been through such a healing process and I almost got emotional walking to the Warriors Watch Party at Chase Center afterwards. I can enjoy the game, my night, and going back to work. I will return when I'm in town again. Highly recommended!! I will spread the word about TRx and hope more individuals will find the fountain of youth, as I have. My tension and pain is gone and even my sense of taste returned to a sensitive state, as before. My God, I feel reset and renewed!! Thank you very much!!
I had an amazing full body massage today, after months of stress and less activity than I’d care to admit. The space was comfortable, relaxing, and my provider took special care to listen to my specific needs, create a plan of treatment, and was the right level of communicative throughout to ensure we were making the most of our time. Highly suggested. Fair prices, great quality and a kind professional who makes you feel like your best. Thanks for undoing over a year of stress in our 99 minute session, and for finding the right amount of time to diverse, relax and educate. Tim
If you've never had a CBD massage before, take warning that it will absolutely ruin you. Massages in the future just won't compare. Theresa is hands down the sweetest, most relaxing, and skilled masseuse I've ever met! You're immediately put at ease by her calmness when you walk in, and she really knows how to navigate the muscles/knots on your back. Plus, the mentholated balm she uses is out of this world. I came in to combat a back injury, and she made me feel 100% after our session. She's also very open to modifying to fit your desired pressure. An additional plus, street parking is super convenient. There's 2hr street parking along Clara or metered street parking on 5th Street (free after 6pm).
