Dr. Priscilla is outstanding. I went to see her because my heel pain hadn't healed for over a year. She came up with a holistic program starting with reducing overall inflammation, building flexibility and balance, and adjusting gait. It took a couple of weeks before I could feel a difference, but I knew I was in the right hands. After that I had rapid progress and now I am completely pain free and back to walking 15K steps every day. Dr. Priscilla is a rare medical professional who listens well, gives her full attention and really gets to the bottom of the issue. She knows how far to push on exercises so they are beneficial yet not too uncomfortable. She really made a big difference to my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Priscilla.
Dr. Park is very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and treat my hip issue. I no longer have chronic pain, thanks to our physical therapy work!
Dr Park has changed my life and the way I move my body. Like so many others she’s guiding me through my journey of healing my hip from improper alignment and working with me on other areas of my body I’d like to improve my form on. She keeps it real and is such a wonderful person. She has changed the way I think about movement and inspires me to help others (I teach lagree) keep good form during movement. I can’t recommend her enough for anyone ready to take the plunge of getting their body in a better place then ever before.
I have spent the last 6 months+ working with Dr Park on my torn rotator cuff injury to avoid having surgery. I was at a point where my injury was preventing me from sleeping at night and doing basic tasks with my arm. I had tried another physical therapist through a hospital and it had only made the situation worse. During my treatment, Dr Park took a holistic approach that not only helped my shoulder heal, but resolved several other health issues I was experiencing. She covered nutrition, massage, exercise, supplements, the right tools and how to use them, and more. She is incredibly thorough down to the smallest detail about your body. I had chronic pain in the other areas that I had simply grown used to over the years that she helped me resolve them in addition to fixing my shoulder. If you're hurting or need guidance about your body, go see her!
I came to Dr. Priscilla after dealing with chronic back pain for a year. I had reached a point where I was scared to too advanced of a yoga practice (I've been practicing for 25 years) for fear of exacerbating my back pain. In the few weeks together she was quickly able to create a regiment I could do anywhere to increase my strength and reduce symptoms. As we met more we were able to progressively build in more yoga poses as well. She even modified moves to alternatives while I was on a long trip. Her knowledge of the body is impressive and she's good at helping understand the right areas to target. She brings a variety of methods to help, too: cupping, laser, massage, yoga. Thanks to her I have a lot more tools to help me manage and improve my pain. I am now back to doing most of my yoga moves knowing I am doing the poses in a way that mitigates re-injuring my back!
Dr. Priscilla Park is a godsend! Not only did she heal me, but she gave me the knowledge and tools to take back control of my mind, body, and pain. I am forever grateful for the positive impact she has had on my life. I met Priscilla three years ago, after suffering a herniated cervical disc that caused radiating nerve pain from neck down through my left hand. The pain was so bad that I was bed ridden some days and had to go on a medical leave of absence from work. My kids were just 2 and 5 years old at the time. I felt depressed and lost hope that I would ever be able do regular daily activities with them again. After several appointments with pain specialists and neurosurgeons from UCSF and Stanford, I found myself two weeks away from major spinal fusion surgery. That’s when I found Dr. Priscilla Park online and decide to give her a try as a last resort. That was the best decision I ever made. After just a few sessions with Priscilla, I was already starting to see progress. After a couple months, I was 95% healed. What sets Priscilla apart from other physical therapists is her deep understanding of the MIND and BODY connection and her holistic approach to therapy. Priscilla is extremely detailed, technical, and skilled. She is also a good listener and a compassionate human. Priscilla quickly understood MY body and the source of my pain. She used a combination of manual manipulation, cervical traction, cupping, mobility training, and strength training on me. She taught me the root causes of psychosomatic pain and treated both my mind and my body, which I think was the key to my long-term healing. Today, I am much more aware of my mind and emotions and the impact they have on my body. I am aware of my body and posture and still regularly do the stretches and exercises Priscilla taught me to prevent my cervical issues from returning. I pay attention to the nutrients, vitamins, supplements, and sleep my body needs. I meditate regularly and practice “letting go” and “surrendering”. Overall, I feel like a much happier and healthier person due to Priscilla’s influence. When my mom suffered severe back pain two months ago and needed to get an epidural injection, I immediately reached out to Priscilla. My mom drives up twice a week from the South Bay (a two hour round trip commute) just to see Priscilla. Yes, Priscilla is that good and worth it. Like me, Priscilla has given my mom hope that she will regain her health and life back. Thank you Priscilla.
Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get to the root issues of their injuries. Dr. Priscilla is incredibly patient focused, and will help you come up treatment plans to get back to daily life and your exercise routine. She is extremely patient and skilled on diagnosing and in treatment. For my car accident injury I was able to get help on easing pain in her office and at home very quickly, the treatment plan exercises she gave helped me get back into shape with correct posture and form. In addition to PT exercises, Dr. Priscilla goes above and beyond to help me get back to my exercise routine for yoga and weight lifting with the correct alignment and form base on my body range of motion. I’m thankful for her attention to detail as this will help prevent any future injuries. Physical therapy can be a long journey but Dr. Priscilla made it feel soothing and therapeutic with her kindness and compassion.
Dr Priscilla Park is a fantastic physical therapist! I was initially skeptical of physical therapy, but had to undergo PT in order to potentially get an MRI. I knew I had damaged my shoulder in some way, but wanted to get a definitive reason. Going to see Dr. Priscilla was the best choice I could've made. Dr. Priscilla was able to get my shoulder right before I took an international trip (as she said she would) and my shoulder is probably stronger than it was before my injury! She's given me a litany of advice, exercises, massages, and more for my shoulder and for general wellness. While she does provide some tough love, she's absolutely amazing at providing holistic wellness. She's kind, compassionate, and an interesting individual to talk to. Each session does feel like talking to a regular behavioral therapist while also getting the benefit of a physical therapist. I cannot recommend a physical therapist better than Dr. Priscilla. If you have a longstanding body pain or a new one, she should be the first person you see!
I came to Priscilla after dislocating and breaking my ankle and going through surgery to put screws in the bone. I pretty much picked her name out of a long list of recommended PTs provided by my surgeon, and I couldn’t have gotten any luckier to have found her. She really cares about understanding the wellness of your whole body, and approaches healing techniques holistically. She offered multiple approaches for me to strengthen the healing bone through supplements, herbal remedies, mobility exercises, strengthening for the proximal muscles, cupping, and soft tissue manipulation. Midway through our work on my ankle Priscilla found out that I had been dealing with some shoulder joint pain for many years, and had never experienced any successful treatments. She took it on herself as a project to diagnose accurately for the first time after seeing many doctors over the years, and worked carefully with me to come up with exercises I could do to strengthen supporting muscles and ease the strain on others. I could not recommend Priscilla any more highly. She is a wonderful healer, and a delightful person to spend time with. She’s supportive, humorous, kind, and attentive. I would send any friend or family member to her for any injury or just to work on improving posture or strength. My favorite thing about working with Priscilla was feeling like she really heard and understood all my concerns and was ready to gently push me while ensuring that I was comfortable and feeling positive and listening to my body. It really has been the upside of experiencing a traumatic injury, and I’m very grateful to have an improved connection with and understanding of my body.
I've been an athlete my entire life and have suffer through many injuries to my shoulder neck spine and hips and ankles. It's safe to say I've seen over a dozen physical therapist in the Bay and Sacramento area. Priscilla is by far the most effective, caring, empathetic physical therapist I have ever worked with. She has been helping me recover from a knee surgery and the silver lining in the surgery was that I found her and have been able to add her to my Arsenal of Healers- Priscilla is not a physical therapist she is a true healer. She has taken it as her personal mission you make sure I make a even better recovery to my knee and my body then the state it was before the surgery. The modalities that she has used with me include but may not be limited to : Active Release Soft tissue manipulation Kinetic taping Cupping Naturopathic medicine Certified yoga instructor Traditional physical therapy Every session is customized based on your needs that session. She always takes measurements at the start and after and the improvements are literally quantifiable and not subjective. you truly feel like your leaving in a better physical state as well. With all my other physical therapist I was prescribed exercises and just wasn't sure if it was helping. My leg was atrophied when I arrived and has regained most of its muscle mass. She does not take Cigna but she is with the money if you can afford it ($150/session)
